Crazy that in 2012 LSU won the conference with a 19-11 record, and this year 19-11, more than likely, doesn't even get an SECt bye

Crazy that a #12 RPI nationally is only good enough for 7th-best in the SEC.
Pseudo RPI
Hoover next week could be a better tournament than Omaha!

Well...it isn't a bye if you play a day earlier with your #1 pitcher instead of playing a day later with your #1 against a team having played a day earlier and now pitching their #2 plus your number one is done for the tournament a day earlier and you have an extra game compare to the top 4 seeds...but other than that it is the same thing.

This is why that 3 run HR in the top of the 8th by Vandy hurts so much. Give us that sweep & we are sitting pretty.

Now playing them with Lange pitching on Tuesday is, like I said, pretty much considered a bye itself. So tell me again what don't I understand?

Having to waste your top arm against a shitty team is the antithesis of a bye.

It's pretty much a win, which is the same thing as a bye regardless of who's pitching for LSU

I'd rather them win 2 today and not worry about that but if history tells us anything from this season 2 out of 3 is most likely. Florida hasn't been swept all year and LSU has only swept teams in the basement of the SEC
