Exactly....is he succeeds...it will mean they were wrong.
I went back and forth with the Miles lovers for years and always claimed LSU made Miles the "great" coach he is...I think my point has been proven correct since the absolute worst coach in Ole Miss history is winning at a .750 clip at LSU

Including 10-2 Auburn, the teams we beat were a combined 46-61. Yes, the teams we beat sucked. 6 of our 9 wins came against teams with less than 5 wins. Only 2 of our wins came against teams with winning records.
So yes, you're absolutely doing it right.

This is the most idiotic response imaginable to the weak schedule played.
It isn't about fault you nincompoop.
It is merely pointing out that the wins don't necessarily tell us all that much because they came against teams that were not good.
Is that so hard to comprehend???
The bottom line is we are 1-4 against SEC opponents that finished the season ranked since the coaching change. 2-4 if you include the bowl game.
That doesn't mean that the program can't improve, but it also shows that we have a long way to go get to the place we all want, which is Atlanta for the SECCG.

I'm guessing his point is something along the lines of we mostly beat bad teams and mostly lose to good teams.
Is that ok with you?

frick this stupid thread

Just because you put a ton of spin on something doesn’t mean the spin makes sense. You went through a lot of typing to completely deflect and miss the point. Those rankings since 07 and 2012 are pre season rankings before O got here and they reflect expectations. Not recruiting rankings not what fans are willing to accept, expectations nationally by rational objective people had ours dropped 4 years before Orgeron arrived. So this narrative O-flakes are pushing that expectations dropped because of O is false plain and simple.

Mental health? Because we are on a sports message board discussing our favorite sports team?
Ooooh, I see. This is the part where no argument can be made so we throw out ad hominems and non sequitors to assure ourselves we feel better about not being able to defend our positions. Carry on

It’s amusing to me that you want to argue against something that we all know, or should know, to be absolutely true. Miles has had no involvement in LSU football for the past 20 LSU football games and that a coaching change was made almost 2 seasons ago.
Why my stating that would cause you to be in a snit, I don’t know. Neither one of my remarks you pointed out say anything negative about Coach O.
I don’t care who the LSU coach might be. I don’t care who plays quarterback for LSU. I don’t care what offense we run. I want us to win the west, beat Bama, and be really relevant again in college football. And nothing I have seen in the past five years tells me that we are any closer to doing that today than we have been in any of the past few seasons.

The bottom line is that LSU is 9-3, ranked #17 in the nation in the cfp polls, and is playing in a good bowl game vs a good ND team with a shot at a 10 win season. If you would have told that to most people at the beginning of the season, they would have been ok with that, but because it's orgeron thats our head coach, alot of these idiots don't like it. It truly is sad that orgeron can't get the full support of our fanbase, it really is pathetic.
