Any clock management required in this position? Just asking.

Troy’s starters are better than any of LSU’s backups and some of their starters are better than some of LSU’s starters.
This idea that players on teams from the top teams in the Group of 5 are vastly inferior just shows the arrogance of the “big boy” schools. And why when the “big boys” occasionally lose to a small school from a G5 conference they implode as if it was an absolute certainty that when both teams ran out onto the field the outcome of the game was already determined.
Hubris of that magnitude is what leads to those “embarrassing” upsets happening every so often.

Pretty lucid for a newb! Welcome aboard sir!

That loss to Troy has been magnified all out of proportion on this board. Sure it was ugly, but in the grand scheme of things losing to Bama was worse. That's what kept the Tigers out of the SECCG and potentially the playoffs, not losing to Troy.

says the guy wanting to count 18 year olds as nfl talent because 3 years from then they are nfl talent. its fricking pathetic attempt to add talent to an untalented team.
Tell us when the NFL starts assessing talent?
Do they just wait for a kid to become a junior before they start evaluating a kid?
I know you won’t answer this but what makes you think, hell better yet what facts do you have that shows the NFL wasn’t evaluating LF NFL when he was a freshman? And a follow up when you answer of course they were (if not you’re a complete moron) why would they evaluate a freshman?

So the agenda is true then?
Are you drunk? O hadn't done anything in his career to justify being hired by one of the most successful college football schools in the nation since 2000 and he has done nothing since 2016 to dispel the serious doubts many have about his ever winning the west, SEC, or even getting to the playoffs. That's not an agenda, that's a ...FACT!
In a season that saw LSU play its weakness schedule in over a decade, the best we can do is third in the west and win nine games. If that isn't bothersome to you as a LSU fan, you need to stop drinking or maybe start drinking more.

and if you didnt know our coach was fired for having seasons just like the one we are having now.
I haven't read enough of your posts to know what your agenda is, but "our coach" was fired for obvious reasons. There is a reason why he hasn't been a serious contender for any coaching jobs that have been open since the 2016. I love the dude, but I don't like him as a coach.

That was only true because of those teams sucked after the year went on.... try to at least be fair here... Before the season we had no clue...

It's a "FACT" that he is drunk, and it's a "FACT" that you don't know what "FACT" means.

how did Saban, Jimbo and muschamp lose 3 games with all that future nfl talent?
its because true freshmen arent nfl talent.
thats 20 future nfl players. more than 2014 and 2015 COMBINED.

yeah the biggest reason is that he would be the 3rd 63 year old in a decade to get offered a p5 job.
and again, if not getting offers means youre a shite coach then O is far worse than miles.

cool. deny his coaching ability all you want. but his accomplishments cant be denied.

again, they have had 1 player drafted since 2012.
our 2017 secondary has more nfl prospects than the last 4 Troy teams COMBINED.

its much better optics to lose to a sec team.
we paid $850,000 for Troy to manhandle us.

Troy would beat Cuse by 17 points. What people fail to realize is that the top teams (UCF, Boise, Troy, etc) from the Group of 5 schools can compete with P5 schools and beat their fair share.
holy shite the mental gymnastics needed to tout troy as a good loss is astounding.

Troy had more talent at several positions, i
theyve had 1 player drafted since 2012.
they don't have a single 4 stat recruit on the roster.

na but ive heard that they wont hire you unless youve never proven you can win more than 2 conf games on a consistent basis.

We took the talent lightly which is a bad habit that we've seemed to develop.
We were unprepared and O admitted to meddling in the offense. He hasn't since and we've improved.
Let's focus on that instead of the embarrassing loss. Just a thought.
