A lotta people (myself included) wanted CJ to stay. Kelly talked like he was coming back, then he left. CJ reliably caught the ball and he was our best blocking WR.
He wasn’t the deep threat we thought he’d be, but I think that was mostly due to some nagging injury.
This team could’ve used a possession receiver who blocked, sometimes things just don’t work out.

Everybody in here realizes they are gushing over a guy averaging less than 4 catches and 50 yards a game?
His one hand catch against ND and his 2 plays tonight account for over half his yards on the year
