I’d love to hop on your love bus but that will still be the weak link of the D, followed closely by D Line. Even with a damn good position coach, they will struggle again I’m afraid.

I feel like the formula going forward is...
Bring in HS DBs who have a chance to start right away.
Bring in portal guys who are role players, backups, depth, whatever.
Still have to hit with the HS guys.

All these guys are tiny and will redshirt. Johnson is the only one i can see playing next year.
It wasn't a strong cb class for lsu this cycle. I really like woodland, just wonder if he would be better used on offense. I think he has the athleticism to stick at corner.

Major was needing to psyche himself up to play this year on this defense. At least he had a pulse unlike much of the defensive backfield.

One good cb and one lockdown cb, and then we have a chance. From what I see so far, we are a long way from that, but hopefully our new d coaches can eliminate a lot of our problems.
