You call it drama. ESPN calls it ratings.

Care to elaborate? What exactly is ironic about it?

especially if JD5 starts and craps the bed causing LSU to lose? That would be rich.

Not any more. That’s no longer part of the deal.

Citrus Bowl vs. Illinois
I was kind of hoping for this. The Illini defense would be a good test to have extra practices for.

How many seniors will opt out this year?
Posted on 12/4/22 at 11:17 am to T
Much prefer this over Citrus Bowl v Purdue

Illinois has a good defense and a great RB

We play ND too much in bowl games
I agree. That said, it would sell more tickets, at least from a ND perspective. Their fans might travel to watch them beat up on Kelly's new team. I doubt it makes much difference in how many LSU fans go, which I assume won't be many.

It would be ironic. Do you deny this? I do not wish it, but the irony could not be reasonably denied.

LSU is locked in for the Citrus Bowl vs Purdue. These idiots starting threads have no clue how the bowl selection process works and are just making talking point statements

USC would beat aTm
Not the healthy A&M team we played. Achane would run for 260 and the A&M safety would injure a USC WR or two.

I think USCe fans would be more excited to go than LSUs.
The fact that they haven`t been to to mountian top and are
building and just beat TENN,CLEM,they are excited for their team.

Correction. Sec decides after ESPN tells them the matchup they want.

OK, dimwit. Pour toi. LSU hired ND's HC in season during which ND had an outside, but not insignificant chance to go to the playoff. ND starts out the season stinking, but could easily beat this LSU team, especially if 5 is the QB. So as pissed as the ND fans were about losing their coach, they would IRONICALLY have the last laugh.
You are welcome.
