I’m having trouble locating pump similar to this around me in west tn that doesn’t cost 2k+ to ship. Goal is to use this to food duck holes and be able to tow it around with side by sides.

Not sure what to tell you except your local equipment suppliers who sell this kind of stuff should be able to get you one with minimal shipping costs.

Thats a shitload of money for a 10hp pump

How long would that take to flood a duck hole?

Used a 6" one like that to pump out water for conrete pours. It was impressive how quickly it would empty out an area.

Ever concrete poured a duck hole? ;)

Probably run that pump 1000hrs to get an acre-foot of water.

Man you can buy 2-3 of those harbor freight 3" semi trash pumps for a few hundred dollars a piece and I think they will flow 250-300 gpm. Do you have some kind of wild head pressure youre dealing with?

Need approx a million gallons. I calculated about 3 days to account for seepage and how dry it is right now

I see the capacity now. More than I would’ve guessed. My bad.

That’s a serious tool OP.
Maybe check used at one of the rental places? Or rent once a year?
You may come out better renting?

As said, seems like you have a ton of options in the $500-1000 range and can then just set it on a trailer. I’m assuming the one you listed is more for commercial operation and the cheaper ones won’t be as easy to keep going for 3-4 days straight but is that really worth $10,000?

As said, maybe worth just renting for 7 days a year.

How many acres are you trying to pump up?

I would believe that area has a decent amount of ag. Go to a local irrigation store that the farmers use. They usually sell similar pumps and might have a better option for you.
