Minter went out in the 2nd half during a drive. Muschamp to his credit started running the inside Wham and without Minter at Mike on that Drive, they wore our asses out on D an punched a winning TD in.

He was an absolute warrior in that game.

Agree, until White, I thought Minter was the best LB I'd ever seen. He did it quietly. I remember the Florida game when he got banged up and they ran it down our throat the rest of the game right where he was controlling it.

He didn't have a narrative. Minter kind of flew under the radar, despite being really good. He had a ton of tackles in the loss to Florida. Since LSU lost, his performance wasn't talked about as much as it should have been.

Isn't the Butkus Award one of those awards that starts with a preseason list of candidates and those are the only ones they choose from? Minter may not have even been on their list.

Minter got robbed, and I absolutely believe that the Manti Teo dying fake girlfriend junk played into it for the voters.
