Yeah, Joe got to work alright. He broke a ton of records and won every award that a quarterback could win.

Oh, I almost forgot - won a Natty.

Joe Burrow = work ethic personified.

No disrespect to any of the young men that played QB from 08-17 but..

He is exactly what this program has been asking for. A trigger man to get the ball to a non stop flow of athletes

You can’t help but wonder how guys like Mett & Etling would have done. Etling was a tough sob and a hell of a leader. I feel like he could have been good. Not burrow good tho

That attitude obviously rubbed off on his teammates. Check the quotes of the guys who got drafted. Almost to a man, they said they were ready to get to work with their new teams.

The 2013 team with the offensive staff from 2019 would have been scary good too.

I remember him talking about the new offense and with utmost confidence, he said .. "we're gonna score 40, 50, 60 points". Dude is a prophet and I'm forever grateful he chose LSU over the Bearcats

5/18 should be a Tiger holiday.

I liked Mett and Etling. I don’t get the feeling Mett was a workaholic. He relied on his arm talent. I feel like Etling and Joe had similar qualities. Both were tough as nails and sneaky athletic. Where Joe rose above was his uncanny accuracy and elite pocket presence.

I don't know what it was about Mett, whether it was coaching or what, but he could not diagnose a CB blitz. You could see them at the line and watching the game, I know they were gonna blitz but he never picked up on them.

Well, he was the definition of a statue back there, so if anyone got near him, he was going down.

The guy posting right before you diagnosed it. Mett was a lazy guy.

I think Brennan and crew will score an average of 40, that's almost 10 a game less but I'm also thinking our defense will be top 5 not 30 something under Aranda. Gonna shock the world again.

Even though the 2018 stats were less than elite you knew the guy was special. From the 1st game vs Miami when he mixed it up pre-game to the end of that season when he did everything possible to win the A&M game and then got up after being blindsided and skull drug UCF.

After the close of 2018 and the re-engineering of the offense you had to sense that Burrow was getting ready to have a huge season. I just had no idea it would be historic.

I liked Etling from the time he played in that first Spring game where he threw a 60 yard pass. Listened to the garbage talked about him and just knew he’d make the NFL and all the while the talk was Etling would never even get a glance from the NFL.

Etling proved them all wrong!
