He had all last season as the starter, undivided reps and attention/coaching and same going into Spring and Fall and then still lays a damn egg against JSU??? What else is there to argue or defend?

Give him one more chance against state. If he's not producing by the fourth quarter put Etling in.

Really the 3rd stringer managed the ball during his reps better than BH did 1st Qtr.

When Miles said that Harris and Etling were playing the same playbook they have been running for years... well... that is sad but

The fact that Etling made it successful, albeit against a lesser opponent than SEC play, states volumes about Harris.

I would go with Etling and even try Scott before going back to Harris. Harris showed he is lost and no awareness.

No, wrong answer. The last thing Les should have said was "we just want him to relax and get comfortable" really? I like the kid. I have nothing against him but the best players are the ones who play. The big question should be why is it so hard for Les and Cam to figure out who their best quarterback on the roster is? Who actually gives you the best chance to win? The high school spread QB who has never played under center or run a pro style offense coming out of high school or the pro style quarterback who knows how to run a pro style offense?

Perhaps he is just really bad at recruiting QB's out of high school?

If Etling is better, it's not because of Miles. It would be funny that a transfer from Purdue outperforms a 4* recruit who couldn't get developed by Miles.

This has been my argument since forever, not one of CLM QB's has played at a high level while at LSU ...not a single one has ever been drafted Russell Shepherd and Ryan Perilloux are the only QBs recruited by miles to make a nfl roster.. Damn near every RB to play for CLM here has made a roster...Every year fans are yelling for a QB change but each year they produce the exact same results and CLM is a happy man..

One thing to look at is according to the NCAA stat site Etling is positive 2 net yards per carry rushing (including sacks, scrambles and designed runs). Harris is like negative 3.75.

Not that big of a deal probably but it sure seems better to be on the plus side.

And the year before last. This is not a knock on Harris. Some things happen that you can't fix. Our coaching staff realized that BH was going to struggle so they went out and got Etling. Not a big deal.

BH's actions say a lot about his character right now. He's acting very JJ in the way he pouts and runs off the field without his team mates. Only guy to blame is yourself.
