He was a beast in 2020.
I wish he would come back and get surrounded by good people that can help him out. I'd go all in on trying to help him and get him back to LSU. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by having him back on the team.

Gilbert cant even transfer here and play this year at this point.
1. He already used his 1 free transfer
2. His name would have already had to be in the portal by Feb 1st to transfer to another SEC school for this year
Not sure why that was even brought up by Lonn, it literally cant happen (for this upcoming season).

The last I’ve heard is his doctor refused to give clearance because of the previous issues that led up to him and Kirby getting into it. Who knows. Wish the kid the best. Dealing with mental issues while trying to go to school and play football in the SEC cannot be easy. It's best for him to be in the environment that’s most conducive to being 100% healthy mentally.

I thought that he was done with football completely, but it looks like the Georgia football roster still has him listed. Also, he's listed as a WR now.

Lonn is the worst LSU “reporter” there is. He either plagiarizes his stories or he just completely makes them up. And all while using the worst grammatical formatting I’ve ever seen.
