Hmm, random. My GF and her dad worked with him at Prosource Flooring for years. She and I never knew this about him.
He'd literally just called the other day to apologize for some work drama and congratulate us on our first child.
Heart attack while taking out the trash alone, fairly young for those who'd asked.

lol @ all the downvotes because people have never heard of the guy.

I remember his name. I am sorry for his family during this time. Condolences and peace.

Didn't his father just pass away about a year ago?

When was this?
Early to Mid 90s. He had the 6-8 time slot before Condon rolled in from 8-10.
10-12 was the national show the Fabulous Sports Babe.. I mean Blob.
His national gig was before that. I don't know the exact dates.

If you don't have one at the ready, obituaries don't come out all that fast.

You have to understand, down votes on TD are a good thing. It means you're not like 90% of these tudbags, and you have mastered the ability of thinking for yourself and not being a follower.

Almost positive he was a bar regular where I used to work for years. Guy was a walking LSU history book.
Regardless, RIP. TigahRag was a hell of a poster.

Well, then I hope you feel honored by my warm, respectful downvote.

In all seriousness, are we sure he and Bryan are the same person? I actually asked the poster TigahRag a long time ago if he was Bryan Rushing and he said "no"...but I realize it is the internet and he could have just been saying that to stay anonymous.

I worked with Bryan for a couple of years after high school in my first two years at LSU. Bryan worked with Bill Wagy who was the sports Director of WJBO at the time. When Wagy left to take a job in Ohio, Bryan assumed many of his duties on WJBO. He hosted special basketball pre game shows during the 1987 run to the elite 8. I helped produce his shows in Chicago and Cincinnati that he did on WJBO from the tourney. Those were fun times. At the time I met him, he was the most knowledgeable person I had ever met about LSU. I have not seen or talked to Bryan in several years and am shocked at his passing. Rest In Peace and god bless your family during this time of grief.

Didn't he and Condon do a show together back in the 90's.

I never heard of the guy but I have lived in New Orleans area all of my life. Just started listening to Baton Rouge radio within the last 5 or 6 years.
One of the originals when sports talk really began to grow in B.R. in the early 90's.
He was good when it was his living, I liked him. However, he moved on to the family business I think and when it was a side job he really didn't need he'd spend most of the day whining about management and what he wouldn't do and he'd quit if they made him. Ironically Hanny was the station manager he complained about on the air all the time. Always wondered why Hanny didn't fire him.
But he was good and entertaining in the beginning I thought.

Maybe so, but the only person I can remember having a show with Condon was Larry LeBlanc.

I was in the same graduating class with him at CHS. Had a decent round ball game with him too. RIP my friend.

First of all, lol'ing in an RIP thread is fricking stupid. About as stupid as posting in an RIP thread simply to say you've never heard of the guy who passed away.
RIP, Bryan.

Not only stupid, but very disrespectful and inconsiderate. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. RIP Bryan.

Agree! I liked him a lot.
It was funny because he never knew I knew he was TigahRag. He even offered to write my book. After we finally formally met, I would see him regularly. He even sent me a text when my father died. I always enjoyed him company.
He was a good guy and I am going to miss him. In real life...not on Tigerdroppings.
