Gordy Rush will be the next color guy, when Doug Moreau decides to retire. I would bet on it. I predict the broadcast team by 2015 will be Wright/Rush. Not sure who would be on the sidelines...

Hawthorne definitely brings the passion, in a good way. If they do indeed replace him we need someone with a cajun drawl.

I too like Hawthorne. I grew up listening to him. Yes he messes up but I LOVE to hear him call game.

Hawthorne is awesome! I can't believe some of you clowns want him gone. He is the voice of the Tigers and I wouldn't want it any other way.

You're not the first person to suggest Pat Wright as Jim's successor - what does he do that I might hear? He calls the women's basketball games and non-revenue stuff? Has he subbed for Jim?

He does women's basketball (since the mid 90's I think) and softball. Occasionally he will fill in and do a baseball or men's basketball game if Hawthorne/Hanagriff have a conflict, get sick, etc.
