I work on campus and I'm appalled by the amount of trash on campus on a daily basis. Walk through the Quad and you'll see empty bottles, cups, newspapers blowing in the wind. There are empty cups and drink containers left on a bench when there is a garbage can sitting right next to the bench. People in general are just nasty and lazy. It's goes back to pride in your campus and your community. For some reason the trash on this campus is a problem that I haven't seen when I visit other campuses.

Perhaps there should be a Litter class necessary for all student season and regular season ticket holders (maybe all students in general since mommy and daddy didn't teach them). Kind of like a hunter safety course, except it would train these bone-heads that littering negatively affects them, the people around them, and the whole Tiger nation.

the people of louisiana are trashy people...just look at the sides of the roads you drive on every day....surveys done in florida before the don't mess with texas program showed that the greatest contributors to the litter problem were young people who drove pick up trucks....whereas in most states young people have some environmental consciousness, the young people here border on brain dead when it comes to litter....
pick up your own shite,,,,its good for the environment....helps save the university money, and shows that you give a shite

(it would help if the university put out more trash cans)
