NFL holding the death of his father against him. Sad.

Pretty fricked up but it's not our place to tell people how to spend their millions. Obviously the NFL feels that he's more risky than we know him to be.

Joe Mixon had a history of assault and was drafted higher last year. many of those drafted come from broken families. something happened that we haven't heard about.

That doesn’t make a damn bit of sense. Either he’s a good kid or there are things to worry about.

These people have drafted pot smokers, criminals, and guys that have hit women. They don’t care. Which means there’s some big issue here.

Either guice made up the questions they asked or they actually asked them and theyre pissed he spoke out.

You don’t know wtf you’re talking about. What if Guice has a history of drug abuse, it’s not common knowledge, but the GMs know it. In that case your statement would appear very foolish.

Just to be clear that was only a hypothetical example.

Pretty sure Eric Reid’s bro dropped just because of his brother, or at least that was suggested by the commentators. So, GMs do a lot of things behind closed doors we don’t know about. They had him rated 27th overall.

I call BS.

He is far from the first player to have a difficult upbringing.

I'm thinking of ricky williams and a guy from a few years ago who was constantly in trouble for weed. Can't think of his name but he's out of the league now simply because he couldn't stop smoking. To that level is what I meant. Guice is not one of those guys.

I will always believe this is backlash for him outing that they ask ridiculous questions.

We can piece together what happened pretty easily.

- Guice Interviewed poorly. This includes all aspects, being late, answering calls, etc.
- Guice revealed some of the questions he was allegedly asked. The GMs did not like this.
- Guice showed signs of immaturity. This is no surprise. He's always been this way. It's not a real problem, it's just an easy excuse for them to use.

All of these are red flags, but the GMs would still take a guy with his talent in the 1st. The nail in his first round coffin was the rumor being circulated that he has some deep dark secrets that were going to be brought to light as soon as he was drafted. That was enough for the GM's to let him go, until it came out that there was no big story waiting on the push of a button.
