Ed Orgeron and his entire family are registered dems according to mylife.com

Kind of surprising because Cajun country votes republican by heavy margin

You're just as bad as the people melting about it.

Why do we have to project our own political beliefs into this? They're irrelevant to the national champs being celebrated at the white house.

I don't care what their political beliefs are. They still went there with their team.

i think everyone went. One Team, One Heartbeat. i'm sure some were debating not going but it appears that O was able to talk everyone into going as a team and receiving the honor and that it being bigger than politics.

plus you don't always get a chance to go to the damn white house

POTUS did not get O's name right the first two times. Slinger is seen on camera giving a look when it happen. He did get it right the 3rd time.

The Lafourche situation is a completely different story.

It's probably true, but that's a terrible source FYI.

And I don't think many people care either way.

Very true. With that being said, CEO is good friends with JBE. Which made some folks get up in arms during election season.

They’ve been balancing school & repeat game preps.

No way these guys comprehend or understand the lunacy being displayed by Pelosi & Company.

He's probably an old school southern Democrat, IE John Breaux, from his parents. Hell, I first registered as a Democrat back in the 80's.. frick, not anymore...

A lot of the poor Acadiana areas in Louisiana were largely Dem decades ago and some just simply never registered as Republican as the parties shifted. Same thing happened to my cajun grandparents and old uncles.

Why? It was abundantly clear in the 80s that the GOP was a more Conservative party than the dems?

Why did so many of you bayou people take so long to switch sodes?

That’s James Madison, by the way, founding father of the nation and our fourth president. Even so, he never had a season like the guy below him.

Huey Long, Earl Long, and Edwin Edwards all Democrat and a lot of people in LA attribute that a lot of progress was made in favor of working-class people under them. Whether that is right or wrong is debatable but that is the perception.

I have a ton of friends I don’t agree with politically. Heck. One was JBE’s right hand man on his campaign. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t support the guy.

Also, it’s probably good politics to network with your governor. I mean, I get along with some of my company’s VPs, doesn’t mean I actually like them like them.

If that even enters one’s mind, God help em.

IMO Obama was an incompetent President. But, I would’ve loved to have met him.

This is part of our country’s problem. We must develop rapport with those who think differently than us.
