The linebackers were only go as far as the DL takes them. LSU's DL has been blown off the line constantly the last few years. If you can't hold at the point of contact, the LBs can't flow to the running lanes. It is no different from an OL getting pushed back into a RB's lane.

We added 2 350+lb DL, get Guillory back who is a tough man to move and Kyle Williams knows leverage. With Dom and Breaux leading the DTs to go with that depth we should able to keep the LBs clean and free to hit gaps.

Add an upgrade at edge with Payton and Pyburn to go with Reliford and I am confident this DL will be filthy good this season.

would be cool to see Weeks, Weeks, Weeks on the field together. Even if it was for only 1 play. Im sure it would be something they would cherish

If they can’t put this together 2nd half of LA Tech then this team will have much bigger issues than expected

Jaiden Braker says Hello, 6-3 210lb was highly ranked and heavily recruited. Georgia tried to flip him
great point. He was a top 10 LB.
I’m sure he has added weight and strength as well.

What’s the general feeling about the overall depth and talent level of this group?

The fact that they went after 0 linebackers in the portal should say a lot about what the coaching staff feels about the group

I don’t see how you keep Charles Ross off the field when we play A&M or Florida . You want that 4.3 speed spying on Reed and lagway while letting Perkins rush

Starters are good

young players are exciting

the in between is meh. They'll need 1 or 2 young guys to step up

In the portal era of cfb it makes no sense to worry about next year

We are loaded at lb right now. Yes are backups are inexperienced but very talented. It's not like we have a bunch of three stars waiting. Bk is building a very solid roster at all positions. We have five stars sitting on the bench in the offense lines.

Will have to add depth pieces at QB. You are not going to have high level QBs riding the Bence for long. It is what it is at the position.

Weeks, Weeks, and Perkins sounds like a law firm. Poster/t-shirt potential there.

As Les would say, "I have a lot of want" for that to be true.

That's what I'm hoping for on the first defensive series against Clemson.

I'm sure Kelly will do this for a few snaps against a shitty OOC team.

Sometimes you have to recognize these are kids playing a game…and this would be one of those times.

First game we get a 30+ point lead against a lower school, I’d put the three of them in for a few plays together, get the camera guy to get a good end zone view shot from behind the defense where you can see WEEKS WEEKS WEEKS on the jersey backs, and provide that memory.
