like how negatigers are hanging the 9-3 record like A&M loss counts but UCF win doesnt

anyone that calls themselves a tiger fan knows that we got fricked hard out of that game and that our team actually performed to an 11-2 record this year. but if it helps their case they'll tout 3 losses and leave off the bowl win like Coach O lost us the A&M game instead of bullshite + more flukey bullshite and the UCF game never happened even tho if we had lost they would be SCREAMING about how we lost 4 games. even tho they probably all projected us to lose 5 or 6 before the season started. i honestly wish they had better shite to do than try to negativity into our program because they think there is a coach out there somewhere who wouldve beat Bama

9-3 Record is great! In the old days you would get a Raise and Extension! Saban ruined the Program winning a NC! The Independence Bowl was a big deal at one time!

Coach O did a pretty good job of taking the doubt out over him as a HC and that is showing in the recruiting rankings for 2019 and 2020. I also believe LSU should have finished 11-2. The only doubt really left is Steve E as an OC. If LSU looks like the offensive team from 2013 then that will be eliminated as well. If not then he should be replaced. Next years expectations will be high especially if a few players return. 10-3 or anything less will be a big letdown.

I love how people downplay the UCF win. You can damn well better believe that had LSU lost that game this board would've had a complete nuclear meltdown. In another thread argued 8 pages to avoid giving Joe Burrow any recognition for improving over the course of the season but they're not wishing ill upon LSU oh no sir.

Nobody is downplaying any win. A win or loss is a win or loss. What people are saying is in 2015 LSU was 9-3 with a sos of 5. Three losses. We like how the people on here disregard cancelling the McNeese State game didn’t impact perspective. That was a win in most people’s minds considering Miles had not lost against an OOC opponent at BR and only lost to 1 in the regular season ever in Wisconsin at Green Bay. That was 10-3 season for all practical purposes. The major difference was the loss to Arky IMO. Had they won that game, Miles would still be here and I would be botching about him and how he should be fired. So thankfully that didn’t happen.
Three losses and third in the West and 5th in the conference isn’t good enough. It wasn’t for Miles and will not be for Orgeron.

except Miles didn't get fired for one 9-3 season. he got fired the next season after a 2-2 start and it was a cumulative result of the 5-3 4-4 5-3 SEC records 3 years in a row. you cant say "Les got fired after 9-3 which wouldve been 10-3" like the firing had nothing to do with the 8-5 season right before it

How weird. Coach O kept saying after the Notre Dame bowl loss last year, we’re a 9-3 team. So we count the ones we win, but ignore the ones we lose.

Well we did go 9-3 in the regular season with yet another loss to Alabama, a loss to our cross divisional Florida (a game that means more to me than just about any other because of my time as a student at LSU), and the first time we lost to aTm since they joined the SEC.
What also happened was we won AT Auburn (damn hard to do), dominated UGA, and beat a UCF team that was in a 25 game win streak.
This season was good, not great, but a hell of a lot better than many people thought would happen. That being said, next year SHOULD have higher expectations and I’m really looking forward to it. This past year was fun and I’m happy I was able to enjoy he season instead bitch and gripe the whole time.

IN THE REGULAR SEASON. If LSU's record wasn't 9-3 in the regular season, than what was it? The title clearly says "regular season."

That is utterly false. I haven't seen a single person say the UCF win does not count. Maybe a few have, because there are extreme idiots who probably think that. To say "majority of people that post here" think that the UCF win doesn't count, shows how far out of touch with reality you are.

because excluding a game for no reason that is just as valid as the rest of them to disparage how our team performed is dumb as frick.
hey guys we are undefeated in games where the other teams quarterback wasnt Franks, Tua, or Mond. guess that makes us 10-0
The UCF win is more impressive than any win 95% of college football teams have this year. It definitely is more of a testiment to how coach O fared as head coach this year than the southeastern or rice games
