Challenge all fans to turn on their cellphone lights at 4:44 in the first quarter. I normally hate this but it seems like we can show the nation how much we love and care for our own.

Shouldn’t it be 4:44 in the 4th?

cell phone lights..that'll show em.

In all seriousness it would be cool and probably be touching for the family to see something like that. Whatever it is, it needs to be everyone

Sounds good but is this something being pushed and advertised by LSU, or more of a grassroots type effort that we hope catches traction here and spreads? Serious question. BC if here someone would need to spread the word to whoever can communicate it to a wider audience. Not to mention ESPN producers would need to know about it if they are to acknowledge it on TV.

Coach O should call a timeout with 0:44 on the clock and make it happen

This is grassroots as of now. But if anyone knows someone that can put the word out just do it. Lets just make it happen.

while I like this idea, it will have to be during an official or TV timeout, right?

There will be about 5,000 people left in TS at this point. Better to do it in the first quarter.

Maybe they'll do a video montage or something.

The clip of the interview he had a few days ago where he was saying that he thought LSU would surprise some people should be part of the video tribute at the first basketball game.

Is there something we can do in the PMAC this season at the moment when the team hits 44 points in each game?

Cheering seems inappropriate but maybe a gesture toward the sky for Wayde.

He was an athlete. Cheering seems to be the most appropriate thing to do. Celebrate life, don't mourn the death.
