i wonder if it was the plan all along to move to center. I thought it would be a good move and now im hearing a few things such as his awesome work ethic, smarts and strength. other linemen love him. Another wonderful transfer for the boss man! Geaux Tigers!

Being a cerebral player is huge for centers. Him coming from Harvard is a great sign for that being true.

It doesn't seem like this was the plan all along. But that doesn't matter. The staff went out and found a great player and got him to come to LSU. Now they might have found a good spot for him. It's even better than expected if he plays center. That's a position in need.

The "staff" did not find him, according to Coach O, it was all Coach Cregg. Cregg showed him some film, Coach O was impressed but asked " this is not Harvard, can he play in the SEC?" Coach Gregg replied, strongly, in the affirmative.

Coach Cregg is on the staff, so they are both true.

How crazy of another story would this make. He transfers from Harvard. Earns the starting center job at LSU and goes on to have a hell of a season and is drafted in the upper rounds of the NFL draft!

Unfortunately for him, the cancel everything mob has their sights set on CFB right now. He may end up in the same situation down here.

I was only worried about him when he committed because he was listed as 280 lbs which is light for a SEC center. I see on LSU roster he is listed at 305 lbs and 6’5”...

Im good!

While I think it is true in Liam's case, we should all remember that we had a CB come from Stanford who turned out to be kind of a knucklehead. He didn't finish going to his classes after the season and cost us some early enrollee spots if I recall correctly.

I like that he's smart as frick over every other attribute that he has. If we do move him to center full time, that's a key position in making all of the calls and checks on the oline. We need a hard working mature physical quick smart and strong centerpiece for our online like we had with cush in his time here. That's a very important position on the team...center is key. I hope he and Cox come in and start for us. Geaux tigers.
