Would you stick with the same lineup or go back to sciambra at lead off? Whatever we do, we need to figure out a way to get the bats going.

I'm not sure that PM will have Sciambra in the lineup today vs a lefty.

Swap Sciambra and Hale. Hale is a mess right now.

Hale has been a mess. They said last night he had a 6 game hitting streak going into last night's game but it sure has been quiet.

He had better discipline last night but he was chasing all kinds of garbage against UNCW.

LeviGarrett is right - no Sciambre today. He'll go with Zardon until we chase the starter, then he'll swap in Sciambre.

Leave the lineup as is unless he thinks it's time to move Bregman down. Maybe switch him with Hale or Chinea. Stevenson would have been my choice, but not today against a lefty.

Love the lineup last night. Keep it.
Sciambra K's way too often to leadoff. Laird wasn't hitting the ball well and still got on base 3 times. Thats what you want in a leadoff guy. I'm also not sure if Sciambra will be in the lineup or not. He usually wouldn't.

Did you miss the part about them starting a lefty? Sciambra probably won't start

People will say I'm nuts, but I'd move Bregman to lead off. Shake him out of his slump. Although, Sciambra has been in a slump as well, so I'm hoping his walk off is gonna trickle down throughout our lineup

I love Laird in the leadoff spot. He's the only guy who can lay off the bad pitches. He was the perfect set-up guy for Fraley. Fraley and Sciambra are the only guys I'd let go after any pitches right now. Hopefully the rest of the lineup can be a little more patient tonight--espescially Bregman, Hale and Foster.

In a stunning move,CPM starts Kyle Bouman with K-rob in as DH and Kyle pitches a CG no hitter and K-rob wins the game with a HR in the 9th.

and the rant implodes.

Sciambra showed signs of coming out of his mini slump last weekend. People forget he was the one that hit the ball against the wall that the left fielder had to jump to catch and his first at bat in game 3 was similar to his first hit last night, a shot at the first baseman. The difference is that the 1st baseman didn't make the play last night. If those 2 shots would have been different he would have been 3-9 or 4-9 last weekend. It's baseball. Just hit it hard and hope it finds a hole. 3 of his swings last night were hard hit balls, the first hit went 400 feet.

With that being said, I agree you start Zardon but it sucks you have to bench a hitter who is hitting it better than most in the lineup currently.

Will Davis said during radio postgame that the hitters will shift their approach to more patience and work counts. I think that will help a bunch, considering how hard they are to strike out in general.

I wouldn't have a problem with dropping Bregs down. Don't know what's wrong with the kid; maybe it'll make the light come on.

That makes so much sense but we never seem to do it in the postseason. Fraley is the only everyday starter in a groove right now. Sciambra made great contact every AB last night too. Everybody else needs to chill. Common sense tells you that our best shot is to run the pitch count on Leger and waste their bullpen in case there is a Game 3. These 6-10 pitch innings are infuriating and counterproductive. And it can't be any worse than what we were doing against UNCW and ULL offensively unless we get shut out.
