Tua is by far the best qb in college football this year. As great as our defense is, I don't think anyone stops Tua this year. Hopefully he gets a little rattled but that kid didn't get rattled in the national championship last year.

I agree BUT
- the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium will be unlike anything he has been in
- starting a big game on the road is way different than coming into a game (even a NC game) as a game changer with nothing to lose
- UGA kind of sucked in that 2nd half and didn’t rise to the occasion

All that said, Tua is very impressive, to say the least, and it would be surprising if he doesn’t carve us up at least a little bit.

I really hope we are able to sack him a few times and hurry him a few more so that we at least make him prove he can do it under that kind of pressure. It will be frustrating to watch if we can’t pressure him.

3 or more drives killed with a sack
2 or more drives killed with a turnover
2-3 fg's vs td's
best offensive day of the year from LSU

nothing else makes it probable that we can keep up

Well "crown his arse" then!!! Suck his pecker just like everyone in the media is doing. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

I'm hoping that the contingent of putative LSU fans who camoflouge their weary, ragged, defeatist souls behind flimsy claims of "objectivity" are leagues from Tiger Stadium on Nov. 3. They're the exact types of who fold at the first sign of adversity, shuffling quietly back to their cars in the third quarter while muttering their told-you-so's. The great insecure heart of catastrophe syndrome. Useless humans on a night that calls for resolve and rage.

Johnny Manziel and Lamar Jackson were the real deal too. You might want to check their stat lines against LSU.

You might wanna check Bama's 2 deep vs those teams players

As a Bama fan I'm excited for this game for that reason. Tua and this offense vs your defense and those DBs sounds like good football to me. Can't wait to see who comes out on top

Yeah, the last two weeks in the first drives of the game, UGA and State had a WR open that could have housed it if the QB would have thrown it well. If that happens with Tua, it will be 7. Dude throws the prettiest long ball I've seen in years.

At least 40 to make it a game. I love the defense attitude-coach O has them playing at a high level.

Tua is a different animal. The kid can make all the throws. He and the talented receivers really stress your defense. LSU's offense will need to be hitting on all cylinders as well.

He's good when he has confidence. That confidence is about to shake. We'll see how well he does with 102k+ bearing down on him.

Neither one of those guys had the arm talent tua does. Not even close. Not to mention. The weapons tua has.

This guy gets it. Will LSU shut TUA down? Probably not. He won’t carve them up like he has done others his year. This game won’t be a blowout.

Nice. Without associating myself with either side of the back and forth in this thread, I can’t help but observing that, especially in light of White’s disqualification and all the previous injustices Bama biased refs have inflicted upon us, this phrase beautifully captures all Tiger fans’ feelings about the upcoming match with the scourge of college football.

Tua's great. LSU will need to be great to beat his team.

Insulting people from a thesaurus for saying so seems a bit much.

You might want to check the pass defense ratings against of Alabama's opponents so far this year

#90 Tennessee
#92 Arkansas State
#96 Arkansas
#104 Missouri
#106 Texas A&M
#107 Ole Miss
#112 Lousiville
#123 ULL

LSU is #6

I dont need a thesaurus. I'm a native English speaker. What is a bit much is our own timorous fans fawning over an opposing quarterback in a misguided effort to prove their "objectivity," when in fact all they prove is their abject and reflexive fear of Bama.

Yeah from the highlights it looks like Tua hits Jeudy on the vast majority of their big plays. Need our number 1 on Jeudy with instructions not to let that bastard get behind you....EVER!!!
