my best guess.
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. Auburn
6. MSU
They I think to the west this year is qb play from the top 3. We know Sneed is a great SEC players and Jefferson did an outstanding job in Atl. But in my opinion if Alabama is able to get solid play from the qb it will come down to lsu/Alabama with a slight edge to LSU, But if we struggle at qb we could slip below arkansas imo.
I think this is one of the most exciting seasons the west has seen in a while. If Jefferson is solid throughout the year which i expect ultimately lsu wins the west. a big advantage for Alabama and Ole miss we do not play UF so that will help us.

That's how I would rank them. Of course Chizik is a question mark at Auburn to me still, I have no clue what he is capable of.

State is not last I would have to go with ARK

Arky will be better next year. Mallet will be good in that offense.

yeah I expect Arky to be a really good team next year, but I think the west top to bottom is going to be the best its been in a while.

MISS is the wildcard, good QB and great coach. They could cause trouble. But Florida with Teebow wins the SEC.

josh,
you think miss st will improve that much? I like msu, but I doubt they jump ole miss this year. Mullen has done recruiting wise in his short time I think when Sneed graduates they will pass ole miss, but not with what ole miss has returning. As far as Auburn goes we shall see. Arky will improve imo and not finish last.

In all honesty the entire west feels like a toss up. LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss seem like the best three, but I'm expecting a ton of parody this year. 5-3 could win the west.
