Let’s see if Jay’s superstitious line-up changes with Bear moved down to 7 or 8.

I doubt it, he still wants to have him batting behind our best hitter since he still has the best chance of going deep in every game.

I think batting order is overrated in importance.

but thank God milam ,dickinson, curiel,Hernandez, and Stanfield are all hot.

and Jake brown and Frey can catch fire in any game .

really the only two guys that are struggling in a big way are brazzy and Jones.

I think we're a lhell of a ot better when Hernandez is hot towards the bottom of the order. Just gotta hope Jones doesn't try to do to much and that the same guys that were hitting will continue to hit.

we can just bunt brazzwell if we're in a spot that it makes sense to bunt

like who? who shouldn't be playing that is playing?
beazwell has been great in the field . Jones isn't getting pulled because he's always capable of hitting this midweek pitching that we will face today.

this is basically a midweek game with worse pitching then they would usually throw against us in a midweek game and better pitching the we would have thrown in a midweek game,at home.

we dont need to make this bigger than it is. we just need to go out there and do what we did all year in the midweek besides 2 times.

dont think we get beat back to back by mid week talent

He deserves to be 7th or worse. Is hitting sub .100 over the past 8 games

It feels like he’s had better AB’s this weekend than he did the last few weeks of the season+SECT. Hope he comes up big tonight

This midweek talent has put up 40 runs in their three wins, so their bats are hot and we need to win with pitching because our bats are suspect.

Yes, you definitely want your top hitters getting less at bats in the bottom of the order… what an idiot

they get more abs over the course of a season, but one game isn't moving the needle much on getting a lot more abs based on being 2 in the lineup or 5

Jay will obviously make a move and do something he hasn't done in the entire year if he thinks it is best for the team

There is this thing called best chance, sure. There is this thing also called striking out, or hitting pop-ups. He is much more likely to do either of those...MUCH more likely....and that doesn't move the runner.
