I’ve never once seen something like this posted since Raymond was hired. Yet the day he’s no long here, he’s ruined our DB room?

DBU started under Stovall or even Cholly Mac. LSU has always had DBs. This state is DBU. Relax.

That’s exactly right! I just finished telling some friends this very thing. Raymond gets credit for continuing his success but he’s also been here for a very long time. I’ve got nothing bad to say about Raymond, he’s been a great loyal coach here at LSU but when it’s time it’s time.

Ron Cooper was the coach at LSU when the DBU mantra started at LSU or at least when it became a National talking point. Yes it was! Patrick Peterson started the talk of DBU around here but it took off in 2010 and 2011 with those defenses.
I guess you could say it started with the 2003 team when Webster was here but it wasn’t a big talking point and definitely not nationally, not that I remember anyway.

Hot take, we had better DBs in 2000-2011 (pre-Raymond) than 2012-present (Raymond era)
ETA: Before anyone gets the wrong idea this is no way trying to shite on Raymond as a recruiter or coach because I do like the guy, simply saying he isn't this make or break guy for our program like a lot of people are making it out to be today. He's replaceable, and he did not start DBU. I thank him for his service as our coach, recruiter and former player

Raymond was a great player, good recruiter but first year he came the backs weren't looking back but it was the technique of more or less watch wrs eyes. Never liked it. Anyway time will tell but unless Kelly gave him the boot... A New Iberia native LSU legend goes to F'ing fl, Gainesville fl ? Some of you bitch about Baton Rouge.. ever been to Gainesville ? F that !
