I know they can turn it around, but based on last night's performance alone. This is a total sky-is-falling prediciton.

McNeese State - W (although little O might be more motivated than big O)
Central Michigan - W
@ Mississippi State - W (tentative because I don't feel we traditionally play well there and who knows with this team)
Auburn - L (against Akron, but they ran for 315 yards and can actually throw the ball)
@ Kentucky - W (their new QB looked good yesterday, and again Kentucky is a weird place for us traditionally, so I'm not sold on this one)
Florida - L (ran for 400 yards yesterday and could wear our defense down)
@ Ole Miss - L (don't have a sample size on the Rebels but going off Kiffin usually has a good offense and our defense)
@ Alabama - LOL
Arkansas - W
UL Monroe - W
Texas A&M - W (just because we don't lose to them at home, and if Orgeron isn't fired yet the team will play their arse off)

So 7-5, making Orgeron 12-10 since winning the title.

I was going to ask what his timeline. One article I saw said he was going to be throwing 2 weeks after his surgery.

Will be interesting to see if auburn is still under the cigar curse. Maybe having a coach who’s not an obnoxious a-hole breaks it

LSU will win the next two games unimpressively, then somehow beat Mississippi state. This will tame the Fanbase going into the Auburn game. How the Auburn game goes will dictate whether this is a truly shitty season, or just an average/slightly above average one.

McNeese - W
CMU - push
Miss State - L
Barn - L
Kentucky - push
Florida - L
Ole Miss - L
Bama - L
Arky- L
ULM - W
TAMU - L

Best case 4-8 (with one SEC win)
Worst case 2-10 (0 for SEC)

It just needs to be a big enough clusterfrick of a season for O to be fired. Anything that would keep him at the helm for another year is a catastrophe.

McNeese W
CMU W
State L
Auburn L
Kentucky L
Florida L
Ole Miss L
Bama L
Arkansas W
ULM W
A&M L

That's an initial 4-8 prediction but my gut feeling is we pull off a couple of unexpected wins like last year so call it up to 6-6. Absolutely best case scenario is beating State, Auburn, UK and Ole Miss for 8-4. I see no chance we beat Florida or A&M and Bama is of course a guaranteed L.

But my range is 4-8 to 6-6 based on last night.

McNeese State - W
Central Michigan - W (close and embarrassing)
@ Mississippi State - L (the pirate out coaches O and Jones just like last night)
Auburn - W (keep the streak alive)
@ Kentucky - L (riding a high from beating a bad Auburn team)
Florida - L (FU has revenge on their minds - blow out)
@ Ole Miss - L (offense is 10x better than UCLA)
@ Alabama - L
Arkansas - W (scrap together a win at home)
UL Monroe - W
Texas A&M - W (A&M sleep walks into Death Valley and LSU pulls the upset) But not enough to save Orgeron from being canned

6-6

McNeese, CM and ULM are wins

Bama, Florida, Ole Miss and aTm are losses

State, Arkansas, Kentucky and AU are tossups, none are guaranteed wins.

So if we steal one of those first 4 SEC games listed above and split the other 4, that’s 6-6 (best case scenario)

If it gets O and his entire sorry-arse staff out of BR then so be it. Let's hire Freeze.

We are reaching for hope, that does not exist under this regime.

This year will be a mirror image of 2020.

we'll beat mcneese, central michigan, arky, ulm.

we should beat mstate, but i'm not sold on any other games.

the uk game will decide if we have a losing season or not.

no way in hell this team beats bama or a&m.

not much of a shot against auburn, uf or ole miss.
