Let's face it: This is the Tigers Championship game

this is as good as it gets for LSU. even if they win - they will not get in a New Years six bowl game so with that being said this is their championship. Beating Bama could be the best thing to happen for this team this year.

They are guaranteed one if they win out and win the SEC....now if you saying that that is an extreme long shot then you are right.

In that case who else do we lose to after this? UGA in the SEC title game? I'd still bet we might get into the Sugar if that means that UGA and Bama get into the playoffs.

I kinda have this attitude every year about the regular season. What bowls are better than Bama, Auburn, Florida, A&M,...?
Are people actually waiting for a national championship game that LITERALLY might never happen again?
Lighten up. Enjoy the games. LSU has probably one of the most fun schedules in college sports.

We will not get into the playoff if we win out. There is no way the committee will put us in over another one loss team because of the loss to Troy. You can't lose to a Sun Belt team at home and get into the playoff.

Then that means the SEC will be the conference that gets left out of the playoffs this year. Because that would be complete and utter bullshite if they let Bama(which didn't even win the west) or Georgia(lost to LSU in champ. game) get in the playoffs over the SEC champions that beat both of them.
