If we beat Bama, we still control our own destiny to play for the SEC Championship. That is still something worth playing for in and of itself. It’s a shame that the playoff has kind of watered down conference championships. They still matter and are still worthy goals.

If we win then championship pipe dreams become a legit reality. If we win and then win out the rest of our regular season games, which should be very doable in a weak SEC, then we win the SEC West. Win the SEC West we play in the SEC Champ game. Win the SEC Champ, and it's hard to keep an SEC Champ out of the playoffs.
But this is all a pipe dream as of now. We're a LONG shot to win this game, but it is the biggest obstacle and if we get past it then the sky is the limit.

How about if we just focus on upsetting Alabama on Saturday? All this post-season speculation is only empty rhetoric and nothing more. Beat Bama and then advance one step. Lose the game and it’s all over, and all this “what-if”-ing will be exposed.
