Come on now, give me some stats.

Listening to sports radio down here (currently in the Rouge), sounds like this is the best start since 06? Oh, Matt on ESPN radio show is GAWD AWFUL...where is Ott?

yall tanked the last 4 games of the season last year to lose the SEC...now that was clutch

Yea, that trip to Starkvegas sucked donkey. Faced a hot Dawg team and then lost a damn heartbreaker not once, but twice to Kent...freaking 21 inning game about did me in.

Yep, I knew it ended in a "6".

I think UK winning in Louisville will do wonders...whenever we lose a midweek game before I huge series, we struggle and tank the series.

I hope we win 2/3...but i think LSU is just too damn good and we go 1/3.

We're somewhere around .293 vs. lefties and .313 vs. righties. Team BA is around .310

No offense, but LSU is better than UK in nearly every single offensive statistical category, and the two teams are nearly identical as far as pitching stats are concerned.

Strictly number speaking, this does not bode well for your boys

Yeah, I'm sure the top premier ballpark in the SEC & nation will have a "nice spot to watch the game" especially when you take into account that the Box holds a little over 7000 more fans than Cliff Hagan stadium.

Honestly, will the advertise/sponsors billboards get in my viewing pleasure of watching the game? I dig the "Tony's" on the foul polls.

I get it, the New Box is a "top" ball park. Been to many cracker jack parks in the SEC, just because the Box holds a lot of butts in seats, does not mean it is the best. Anyway, I like our "lunching pad" of a park...closer to viewing and communicating with players on the field.

You guys have a playpen, not a ball park.

Seems that LSU does not like to play in. LSU has not done well the last 2 series in the "play pen"

Now, let's stop the pissing contest over the parks, and get back discussing the upcoming series.

How is LSU going to adjust to AJ Reed...Dude has a strong bat and can crack them out of the park.

Go ahead and bring up history, just remember to glance up right before you walk in the front gate.

Good gawd man, seen the park and the "bells and whistles".

Oh, I kind of like the old park...had a lot of character to it...esp, when the outfielders were slamming their bodies off the wall. Been to many games as a grad student).

Getting tired of the pissing on the tree...Now, if you want to "talk" how great the "Box" is, then I am sure the Arkie fans would like to have a spat on the SEC Rant about who has the prettier "toy".

So, who is pitching for LSU Friday, what is his pitch?

They'll just strike his arse out & when they don't, those "towering" shots at Cliff Hagan will be nothing more than cans of corn at the Box.
The question is, how will UK adjust to Mason Katz...Dude has a strong bat and can crank them out the park- a REAL park at that.

Every series intrigues me, but this one has major talent in both dugouts. Everyone seems to be overlooking Kentucky's hitting while focusing on the three lefties they have. Reed, Cousino, and Riddle can all hit to every part of the field with ease.

By far this will be the toughest weekend series at the box for LSU thus far. Would not be surprised one bit to see Kentucky walk away with 2 wins. I still like the Tigers playing at home in front of what should be record crowds to date.

Kentucky has my respect; good pitching, hitting and coaching. I think we are a better team, but it is baseball, so......

I see that your players like to stick an elbow out on occasion, so It will be interesting to see how the umps respond if that happens in the Box.

Good luck; hope we win.
