Let’s all point and laugh at the people who doubted Justin Jefferson

After last season I posted a thread about how justin jefferson would be a biletnikoff finalist in a better passing offense. I got downvoted to hell, and most people that replied could only talk about his drops. One guy even went as far as saying he wasn’t even CLOSE to being biletnikoff material. Boy did that age beautifully.
Through 3 games, JJ is second in the nation in receiving yards, tied for 3rd in TD’s, and is Joe’s most realiable target. I know it’s early, but I don’t see him slowing down whatsoever. This guy is a special player and will in fact be in discussion for the best receiver in the country throughout the year.
Here are my receipts: LINK
Take a look at the replies for a nice laugh.

Jefferson has earned a major paycheck this year. Probably went from a 3rd-4th rounder to a top 3 receiver in this draft IMO. Good route running typically translates very well in the NFL versus guys who rely on athleticism purely to make their plays and I don’t think I’ve seen a better route runner at LSU then Jefferson and I’ve watched a litany of really good wideouts come from here

Dude is so confident. He saved us at times in 2018. even in the Bama blowout dude balled out still.
He works his arse off though. I knew he would be good whenever I found out how hard he and Burrow practice last summer together.

Joe has a great connection with all the receivers at this point, but it seems like it’s even stronger with JJ. Joe just knows where he’s gonna be and trusts that he’ll be open. I think we saw that with the game winner against Texas.

And?? This post isn't about Jefferson, it's about "let me pat myself on the back." So?
Most posters here thought Jacob Hester should never be a running back at LSU. They also thought Duke Riley could never be an SEC linebacker.
Congrats. Seems a bit piddling, but whatever. I can't remember giving a moment's thought about whether Jefferson would be a candidate. Still haven't given it much thought, nor do I care.

the post was more about how pathetic people can be on this board. shite talking our best receiver because he dropped a few passes.

Ooh, you're an angry little elf. Being drunk and angry on a Monday night is not becoming.
Okay, Jefferson is really good. You were the first person to recognize it. We acknowledge you and your superior football acumen.
Anything else we can do to placate you?

I am not worthy of holding this conversation with you. You have clearly transcended this plane, and are on a complete different level mentally. Very impressive that the thought of Jefferson being a biletnikoff finalist never even crossed your sophisticated mind.

Thank you for the complement. It's much appreciated.
I always thought Jefferson was very good, I just never think or care about the awards at the end of the season. They mean nothing to me until the awards shows. If he gets it, that's great. If he's not a finalist, I won't care as long as he catches passes and LSU wins.

Coach O said that he had ice in his veins. They were saying good things about him as soon as he started practicing. He separated from the Wideouts immediately.

What the literature folks call foreshadowing (or something)

It was never about the receivers. It was about whether we could get the ball to them. You should be embarrassed of this thread.

You must realize that the rant is full of dumbasses. I love these threads, because it exposes the real dummies
