Jay will overthink it like he did w/ Skenes vs Tulane and pitch Kade Anderson.

Well that worked out well, because Skenes would have been lost in the delay of game 2.

I guess Jay will throw one of his aces to keep them in line for the following weekend.

Would be nice to have Kade and Eyanson after game one though.

Yall must forget when Skenes throw over 100 pitches against a 19 win Tulane team? Play to win the game fellas you don’t overthink it. The way yall been bitchin about our hitting what makes yall think it’s such a sure W against a really hot team in the post season lol unbelievable

I would prefer saving Anderson and Eyanson for the latter two games.

More importantly though, whoever throws Friday needs to go deep and then hopefully by the time we go to the pen, we have a 5+ run lead

He’s not going to put one of his aces on short rest in the Supers. He’s going to throw Anderson. Throwing both in Hoover to “Stay Flexible” was BS.

Well LSU kind of has two aces, but I agree that he's going to throw one of them game one now that y'all bring this up.

Would be awesome to save both for after game one, but I don't see it happening.

Game 1. Noot vs Little Rock
Game 2. Anderson vs DBU (likely beating Rhode Island)
Game 3. When we win, I assume we would get DBU a second time after they played losers bracket game.
Eyanson vs DBU.
On to the Supers

Nope, you play to win the regional.

If you can guarantee that Anderson goes out and throws a CG, then fine. But the worst case scenario is burning your ace and some pen arms on day one against one of the weaker teams in the entire field.

If Kade throws Game 1 of the Regional and throws like 4 innings do you yank him in case you need him for a Monday game?

How could we? We've been reminded of it every time this topic comes up.

CJJ is gonna do what he does and that's fine.. even when it works it doesn't mean it's the correct decision.

Doesn’t matter their rag arm starter gonna hold us to 1-2 runs!!

He will probably look like Greg Maddux circa 1996.

Noot.

Honestly it shouldn’t even be him but I’m basing this on Jays unwillingness to risk anything in game 1.

Save Anderson for DBU. If they can’t beat Little Rock w/o pitching Anderson they don’t deserve to win.

Won’t happen, but I’d love to see Schmidt. Don’t think there is a spot for him in any competitive game out of the pen.

Why? He’s pitched himself to the back of the bullpen. He’s a down by a bunch of runs or up by a bunch of runs pitcher right now for this team. It’s postseason time, there is no more giving someone innings to get them out of their funk. He needs to get right this summer and be ready for next year.

This team got run ruled against northwestern state at home earlier this year and some of yall think jay isn’t throwing Eyanson or Anderson. Can’t risk throwing anyone else and immediately having to go into your pen if they suck, throws off the entire weekend pitching plan.

That's why Anderson starts.
