yes and espn just decided to air lunch with les today, they thought it would be cool to have a look at the business of a 3 loss team.
It would be extremely odd for something to not happen with all this smoke
apparently ESPN was wrong huh boss man?

Miles is the best coach in LSU history, and we would be ABSOLUTE FOOLS to get rid of him.
If anything, we should build a statue of him.
So when exactly should LSU part ways? He's 62 and his best days are behind him....which doesn't bode well for the future of LSU football. With that being said would you simply wait until the cupboard is bare and he goes 5-7 before you fire him? Doing this now is the only way that LSU doesn't continue the downward spiral it's on.
And...If LSU fires Miles and has a couple of mediocre seasons it doesn't mean that they made the wrong move. At this point a couple of mediocre seasons are inevitable with or without Miles.

This is more of Les trolling the media and fans. It is only a "special" meeting because it is a "special" week (i. e., Thankgiving week).

No at LSU Saban was definitely a better COACH than Miles was. Saban brought a program that was a dumpster fire into prominence and its first NC in many many years. Les took that program and gave it another NC. As a coach Saban did a better job. Miles lasted longer and had more wins. But to say Miles is the best coach in LSU history would imply that Miles would have done better than Saban if he took over LSU in 2000.
Who here really believes that LSU would have won an NC in 2003 under Miles?

From everything that's been out the last couple of days, I would be utterly shocked if Miles isn't replaced with Jimbo.

I don't get this. So two hours ago most of us were of the belief that LSU is planning to part ways with Les Miles. Now that he had his press conference, we think he's here to stay?
I think the degree to which the media completely fabricates stories is overstated. Someone told Schad what they knew about Miles' status with LSU and Schad went with it. Things could have changed since then. Or LSU could just be trying to get their ducks in a row. Doesn't mean that the information wasn't valid when Schad heard it, or that it's not valid at the moment.

No one knows, so why bring that up?

Same reason he had to address his team before the TN SEC Championship game.
