That's right Les, no need for patience when Saban left you with a full cupboard of studs.
Les, you need to look into the mirror and realize that your stubborn, willful decision to not adapt to a modern game was the cause of your dismissal. You were blind enough to believe that you were going to win and then get your arse handed to you on three consecutive weeks vs Bama, Ole Miss and Arkansas in 2015?
The offense will be a work in progress so, yes, it will require some patience as we try to step boldly into the modern game.

That can't be true. If o took over an Ole Miss type program he wouldn't have been able to win more than 4 games last year.

Do you consider 247 t.v. personalities or radio trash? IMO, they're not. People use those rankings to tout Orgeron's recruiting abilities. I don't see why it can't be used here as well.

I hope they're right. I certainly enjoy LSU having talented teams.

Orgeron has always been known as a recruiting guru. He brings in highly rated classes. Those classes are rated by people like 247. The list I presented was actually a composite of all of the recruiting services.

I only put up the list to show that it wasn't tv personalities and radio trash though. I don't care if it's potatoes au gratin. It's still not radio trash as you said.

Damn, I didn’t remember Saban’s Recruits still being at LSU during the 2011 season.

by hiring an ancient WR coach and an OC that hasn't ran his own offense in decades? Boldly

what O did isn't all that different from Les, hired something different, didn't work out, he panicked, and promptly hired what was comfortable to him.

This Les Miles was gifted not only Saban talent but Saban coaches (Jimbo). And he still lucked out needing a miracle after 2 losses to win a championship. His coaching slowly deteriorated the program to the point it is today. He is Larry Coker

I didn't say what you quoted in response to me, but I will play.

The team Orgeron inherited had top 10 talent that was equal to or better than what Miles inherited. Orgeron was also gifted Aranda, Corey Raymond and Ensminger. He lost 4 games and you're complaining about "backing into" a championship. You're fighting a losing battle with that argument.

really had to do was modernize the offense

You mean like O did last year? Yeah, LSU really blew the doors off the offense since the change.

Try the facts that the man is 64 years old and is being paid $135,000 a month to watch his kids play sports. How bad would anyone here be seeking a job under the same situation?

Those 10 win seasons, SEC championships and National Championship games never inspired hope huh? It was time for a change, but to say there was NEVER hope is silly bro.

Idiot.

Miles’ best four year stretch was from years 6-9. Also happens to be the best 4 year stretch in LSU history.

The only thing that “deteriorated the program” was the fact that his predecessor ended up at a division rival and built the greatest dynasty in modern college football history.

If Saban isn’t at Alabama, Miles would already be the winningest coach in school history, have another NC or two, and would still be considered one of the best coaches in the country, the way he was on the afternoon of 1/9/12.

But the inability to beat Alabama both on the field and on the recruiting trail wore down the fan base, administration, media, and Miles himself to the point that a change had to be made.

Unfortunately, the change that our imbecile AD made isn’t even close to being the one that will turn the momentum back in our direction in that rivalry.

You were hopeful for the future when you have LF & Guice in the same backfield in 15’ & botch that. Never being able to develop QB. Staying hitched to Cam

Seriously, go look at 2015 & 16’ and tell me you won’t promptly need a barf bag for all the talent we wasted. You don’t get those years back!!!!
