I hate to say it but Les Miles would have steam rolled Auburn last weekend.

Sure, but who cares. The measure of success is not beating a crap Auburn team.

Steamrolled for 3 quarters, slacked off and won by 3. This is why everyone wanted him gone. Let's not forget that. He won a ton of games, but he pissed everyone off. I liked him because he won. I didn't care how he won, I just cared about the W.

Les' teams were notorious for playing down to the level of competition. It would have come down to a FG in the 4th qtr, a few 4th down completions and a goal line stand to get a hard fought W

I'm not so sure about that. I think the performance Saturday was eerily similar to the 2015 Les Miles team.

A one dimensional team that woefully underperforms against a clearly inferior opponent. Dominating the first half, but failing to capitalize on opportunities to put the team away. Mental mistakes, sloppy play and sloppy coaching allow the inferior team to hang around until suddenly it's a tight game where we either have to hold on to win (Les' signature move), or stage a late comeback.

So what. Dinardo probably would’ve steamrolled Auburn last week. What on earth does this have to do with anything?? Bottom line is O didn’t, which is why he belongs with the 2 aforementioned coaches on the “fired” list.

How’d his last game against a middling Auburn team go?

Funny how people remember things sometimes. There were 3 losses, two to teams who ended up in the top 10 but Arkie was a head scratcher. The only game that was closer than a touchdown was Moo State, who was ranked at the time. No 8 Florida was the other one score game.

at No. 25 Mississippi State - W 21–19
No. 18 Auburn - W 45–21
at Syracuse - W 34–24
Eastern Michigan - W 44–22
at South Carolina - W 45–24
No. 8 Florida - W 35–28
WKU - W 48–20
at No. 4 Alabama - L 16–30
Arkansas - L 14–31
at No. 22 Ole Miss - L 17–38

Texas A&M - W 19–7
vs. Texas Tech - W 56–27

But the team was a bit one dimensional, for sure.

You got it backward... would have been close for 3 quarters due to running game but would have steam rolled in 4th quarter against a worn out defense because of running game.

Les never lost to A&M at LSU. 2-2 while at Okie state.
3-1 vs Kentucky smallest margin of victory in the win was 28 points.

Arkansas was a thorn in his side though. 6-5 vs Arkie.
