nutt's best attribute is being able to coach teams up. who else thinks PEANUTTY BUTTY would have done a better job with lsu THIS YEAR then lester did. we have a lot of areas of our team that underachieved i think a hardass like nutt would have done away with malvetto like tommy did with frankie carbone in goodfellas.

This year, yeah Nutt would have done better.

That is a matter of opinion. How many rings does Nutt have??? None. Just like Ole Piss- none.
Nutt did a great job at Ole Piss this year, no doubt about that. That does not mean that he would have been or ever would be a good fit at LSU. Nutt is more of a game coach, a motivator, while Les is more of a game CEO- he manages the team and the coaches more than Nutt.

Perhaps, but that didn't work out too well for Tommy.
Nutt is an excellent coach, and I hope that the Arky fans realize how dumb their AD is right now but I say FEAR THE HAT!!!!

He had decent athletes (and plenty of off seasons) at Arkansas.

Won the west a couple of times while at Arky- he has had his chances at rings, and both times got beatdowns in the Ga Dome, one by UGAly and one by UF.

Nutt brought in the h/s off cor....... it failed miserably, he didnt make a move on them until end of year...... it cost him a star qb and star wr.
Nutt has never sustained sucess, and despite doing well with less this year, his best coaching job, he still lost to vandy and wf......
Nutt can pull off the upset... he can win a big game or 2..... but he cant do it for a whole season.

Wasn't that HS coordinator hired by Auburn to be their offensive cooridnator? Malzhan is his name I think.

We are all sorry you don't really like Les- he IS our football coach and I feel really good about the future of our damn strong football program. Saban is long gone and isn't coming back and Nutt is not coming to LSU.

Nutt will have access to a better recruiting base - Mississippi, so he should have a better overall football team to work with.
The proof in his coaching ability will be what he does over the course of several years with that talent.
Seemed like at Arky something would go squirrely within the program that would hamper movement forward whether his own doing or outside the program.
