your #41 ranked recruitng class is going to put you right back in your place....the bottom!

Just like your #7 recruiting ranking for your freshman class helped you to your stellar season this year. You know, Notre Dame and Michigan have top ten classes every year. Relying on Scout and Rivals to tell you how good your football team is might just be a mistake.

Simple analysis: Would you rather have Les and Arkansas/Ole Miss' Recruits or Nutt and LSU's Recruits? Assume you are betting everything you own...

Pretty bold considering Nutt's Team's have won the last two. I would venture to say LSU's recruiting class was ranked higher than Ark's & Ole Miss'for the last 5+ years...maybe longer? Wonder how many other SEC Teams we have lost to that have lower ranked recruiting classes?

Too subjective to answer that. It's a head coach and his staff that wins championships. They all have to be in synch, as much as the team on the field.

Simple:

If it were just for one season I would take Nutt and LSU recruits (a la missy's great 4L season this year).

If it were for more than a season I would take Miles and Nutt's players, because Miles will go out and get better players and get better in the long term. Nutt has proved he can't (#41) -- but we'll see if he can improve with the "improved recruiting base" of MS.

Yes we may have lost to teams with lower recruiting rankings, but LSU is about season records, bowl wins, and championships, not about (fake) "rivalries" and upset games.

What I recall and will always remember about Nutt is this: While HC at Ark. he had a big lineman busted with semi-automatic weapons, large sums of cash, and drugs...well, after the dud got arrested, Nutt suspended him from the team, but let his team "dedicate" the next game to the thug! Not exactly the guy I want leading LSU! Nutt is a good gameday coach, no doubt, but his drama is a bit much...let's see the Mustain affair & his alleged affair with the TV reporter...then, he calls himself the "Preacher"...puleeze, Ole Miss can have him! Let's see what he does at OM in the long haul before you even think of putting him in Les' class!
