An economics degree from Michigan and one of the winningest coaches in SEC history just screams dumb frick.

Also, name the cfb coaches that have beaten saban, at bama, more than miles.

I worked with a guy who has an undergraduate engineering degree and also a law degree from Harvard, and the guy is a certifiable moron. Nice guy, but dumb as a rock with zero common sense.

Yes, a diploma on the wall looks good, but let's not pretend that a degree, in and of itself, is indicative of high intelligence.

He clearly had the ability to retain information.

Im just saying a dumb frick doesnt get an economics degree from Michigan and then go on to have one of the most successful runs in sec history. You dont reach the pinnacle of your profession by being a dumbfrick.

Back in the 70's there was a show called Rowan & Martins Laugh In.....this is what the broadcast will be if Les gets much air time. Hopefully it will only be during the half or end of the game...BUT it will be interesting to say the least.

I could see this, good call. ...Rowan..."let's go to Les for his thoughts"...Les..."This grass has a want for a bit of nitrogen for traction, otherwise it's delicious...back to you Dan".

Just little 10 sec clips throughout the broadcast at times of dullness, yea that would be terrific! Add in a little short clip of background chatter or three note run and voila!

Exactly. As if a law degree from harvard doesnt equate to intelligence.
The ability to retain enough information to get a law degree from harvard is the definition of intelligence.

I've been all the way academically, so I'm certainly not a "have not."

And I can tell you with absolute certainty that merely having a college degree, even from an elite school, is not, by itself, indicative of high intelligence.

You're falling into the trap of thinking that everyone who graduates from top schools are brilliant. I've been around many of them, and it's not the case. Certainly, some are very sharp, but others aren't.

The best example is that the sharpest person I ever worked with only had a high school education, yet rose to the EVP level at a Fortune 100 company. Intelligent and street smart, yet no diploma on her wall.

What? At no time did anyone say this. We said having a degree from a top school means you are not a dumbass. Thats it. Your friend with a law degree from Harvard is not a dumbass. Sure he isnt brilliant but a dumbass cant garduate from Harvard Law.

Les will probably be one of the many live analysts on the ESPN alternate channels tonight. The game will be aired as normal on ESPN @ 7:15 cst.

The other channels will also air the game with discussion and analysis from various coaches and ESPN personalities.

ESPN News - Coaches Film Room - Coaches provide in depth analysis

ESPN U - ESPN Voices - w Michelle Beadle, Jay Bilas & Bill Walton (I'm not making this up).

ESPN2 - Homers Telecast - Tahj Boyd & Barrett Jones provide partisan analysis.

I would guess that Les will be on ESPNU maybe? Surely he wont break down film will he?
