After miles Got 9 he promptly regressed. A familiar pattern
Want to know another familiar pattern? His passing offense in 2004 finished 108th in the country. That sounds familiar too
Looks like a team that needed to recover

cool.
it's amazing that the 2 last threads youve been in the lost are threads created to shite on miles. but yeah you've moved on and the only poster that thinks about miles is me.
the fact is he had one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history.
what do you think a coach would rather have?
the accomplishments of a great tenure OR
opinions of being a good coach by posters on an anonymous message board
I'm sorry your statement that miles needed a huge talent advantage to succeed was proven to be bullshite.
just like your ignorant stance that Connor McGregor had NEVER IN HIS LIFE gotten in a boxing ring or been in a boxing match.

Why the hell were the asking Miles how to beat Bama
Later they will ask him to analyze complex passing attacks

if you actually knew anything about football youd have looked up Oklahoma states passing yards per attempt which was 9th in the country.
his passing yards per game was low because of attempts
his passing yards per game was low because of attempts

I really think fans became delusional based on how he started. Hell even when he went 11-1 fans bitched about him, so for some you can no make happy.
Sorry, but we should have won it all in 2006 with all the talent we had. Also, there's no way the 2007 team should have lost twice.
Seriously, he underperformed and backed into a championship.

except 9th in the country in passing yards per attempt whoch proves his totals were low because of pass attempts and not having a shite passing attack.
educate yourself in regards to football. anyone that understands football kmows looking at totlas is flawed way to lokm at offense.
which offense is better?
400 yards on 25 plays
OR
401 yards on 40 plays

Check it out. Rick Daddy just effectively claimed Navy had the best passing attack in college football and 2004

at no time did i use the word best. I said just using totals is flawed.
I'm sorry you know so little about football that you claim totals are the end all when gauging whether an offemse is good or not.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I never said per attempts were the end all be all. try to keep up.
you never use just totals or just per attempts.

Certainly there are very quality teams
Always been a pet peeve of mine with Les. He doesn't say if he means high quality or low quality. Freaking statement doesn't make sense. Doesn't mean anything.
"Very quality" is gibberish nonsense.

You do realize Mike Gundy was the OC and the passing game had more to do with him and the Woods brothers than Miles.
I guess Miles knew he had less talent there and let Gundy/Woods bros do their thing. He did not do that at LSU, where he figured he had better talent and played conservative 95% of the time.
----
I actually saw Miles coach OSU at UT-Austin in 2004. They went up big against Vince Young and co. in the first half, by like 35 points. Woods threw it all over the field.
But then -- in typical Miles fashion -- they went conservative in the second half. Vince Young did his thing and Texas won. Miles lost. With a 35 point lead at the half. Terrible.
