is this your stance with saban' s 2001 sec title?
Uh, sure he backed into a conference championship. But that 2001 team overperformed. Hell we were a losing team two seasons earlier under Dinardo.
You're trying way too hard dude.

You do realize Mike Gundy was the OC and the passing game had more to do with him and the Woods brothers than Miles.
of course.
it's laughable watching people like you remove credot for anything deemed good and then blame him for anything bad.
at least be consistent.

But then -- in typical Miles fashion -- they went conservative in the second half. Vince Young did his thing and Texas won. Miles lost. With a 35 point lead at the half. Terrible.
I've seen Saban with sec talent lose to UAB and ULM. terrible

do I need to list all the future nfl talent on that roster? it's over 20 players.

Thanks to Gundy and Woods. Do you always ignore the information that counters your argument?

Dinardo had NFL talent, too, and he had losing seasons. LSU had to learn how to win again. There was no culture of winning before late 2000.
You are the king of revisionist history, bro.

so this is part of Miles career where he wasn't overruling his Coordinator's?
at least be consistent.
also the above statement of yours is a fricking opinion. you have no clue how involved Miles was. not single clue. neither do I which I why I'm not saying miles was for sure the reason.

The only thing he did at OSU was get out of Gundy's way.

The difference between Saban and Miles in terms of mentality is that Saban is thinking chess and Miles was still stuck at the "checkers" level. fricking unbelievable.

Yea he had lesser talent and he knew it. He got arrogant and conservative at LSU. We all saw it happen.
Just because you were his grad assistant or some shite doesn't mean you need to ride his D for all time. Seriously, it is unbecoming.
