Ed Orgeron was fired and without a salary until les brought him in as a dline coach. Think about that kind of shite before you post next time dumbass.

Les is still making 4MM/ year so assholes like you shouldn’t question a freaking thing.
Why would he take a pay cut you freaking moron?

Maybe his heart isn't in coaching anymore and he's pretty content where he is.

I wouldn't mind him coming to LA Tech if Skip Holtz gets another shot at the big time. I'd like to see what Miles has left in the tank and genuinely feel bad for the guy if he has been legitimately searching for a gig. I'd love to have his golden parachute though! I'd have retired immediately..

they say he can't coach, but he will go down as "the coach" with the highest winning percentage in the history of LSU football to go along with a national championship and another national championship appearance.

We beat one team with a winning record this year. The SEC is a joke this year. One day you nancy's will look back and say man those Les Miles years were indeed the glory years!!!

Because the man didn't do a fricking thing for LSU.

He rode a lucky horse shoe and the talent coat tails

frick Miles.....what's sad....his supporters can't accept his firing just Clinton voters can't accept she lost.

And now...no one wants Miles...

Because you would have to pay top dollar for an elite DC who could save his but game after game. Then you would have to waste $$$ on an OC so that Les would have someone to scapegoat.

All that and the school would be left with a product that is near unwatchable if he can't pull in amazing talent at a different school.

DAMN Right, he didn't do anything for LSU.... Rode Saban's players to a championship and rode the talent from the state to another.... Dude is a bum would probably lose to teams like Troy

I often wonder how Les Miles would have done running the option. Using Jefferson, Harris, and all of those NFL caliber receivers and backs in the backfield.

Well that's 100% wrong but its never stopped you before

Well, if they had qualified it as besides LSU, nobody in the country wanted orgeron as a head coach they would have been 100% right.

Position coaches do the coaching, and coordinators draw up the game plan and the plays

is this why i see saban working specifically with DB's at every stop he has made? Also seeing O working with D lineman still? So the coordinators do everything? then why do we have so many head coaches who CAN call an DO call one side of the ball? You think saban's plan is not implemented by all his DC's he hires? You know how i know you have never coached any sport?

Right, it has nothing to do with his age or him not really wanting to coach just yet.

He's an idiot who somehow managed to turn the Okie State program around and outperform the greatest college football coach ever, in terms of his record at LSU.

You're a special kind of ... well, lets just say you're either misguided or mistaken.

yeah because he was here forever duh.

look at titles in years coached. also who had to do a complete rebuild from a LOSING TEAM. that is where the real truth lies.

When I look at the current state of our FB recruiting and the furture of LSU I miss les. Les had the best talent in the country at LSU year in year out... he also went 5-7 against bama. Does anyone think Orgeron will do either of those things?

O is 0-2 so far...... if he is gonna do better than 5-7 he is gonna have to start winning soon. Here’s to hoping you guys are right.
