He can't be this Dumb.. No one thinks the program is sinking...

I'm starting to think the man has a couple of loose screws in his head...

Not only does he eat grass but he makes "Grunt growling" sounds during conference meetings.

So you're basing your blanket opinion on 1 WR that hasn't stepped up yet?

Yes, the value of this past team was a conference championship winning team.

Next year we are strong favorites for national championship.

That says a lot about the program and its future.

He laughed at the notion, so that means he believed it?

I don't know what else people want.

To accept fault. Responsibility and fault are not the same thing. I've yet to hear him say that not allowing Lee even one series was a faulty decision. When an obvious mistake isn't considered a mistake, its not a good indication that something similar won't happen again. Does that mean the program is sinking? No. But the standard we failed to meet last week wasn't avoidance of sinking, it was winning a championship. No previous or future accomplishment will make that a good decision. It was a bad one and some of us want him to realize it.

He was asked the question in his press conference and he laughed because he thought it was a silly belief. Why the insults?

The guy just made a grunt growling sound at the conference a hour ago. I was joking about it...

So this has NEVER happened to any other football coaches in the history of the game?

None of the greats? No one has ever laid an egg huh?

Why do you constantly revert to this refrain? It's fairly meaningless. As if the fact that other coaches have made horrendous mistakes somehow makes this horrendous mistake less...horrendous?

We're talking about a particular game that occurred on a particular date. In that game, LSU's coach was badly outwitted and out-gameplanned and out-prepared and just plain out-coached. There's no arguing about that. It's what happened. As a rational LSU fan, I'm certainly not going to conclude that being snookered by our hated rival in a championship is something to be proud of, or happy about, am I? No. Because it's not. It's disturbing and disappointing. If anything in the realm of LSU football warrants any emotion whatsoever, then losing the NC and a chance at a historical undefeated season in New Orleans to an SEC rival in an embarrassing fashion due to poor coaching and poor execution certainly merits some anger. There is nothing wrong with that reaction. It's sane. The game occurred eight days ago, not eight months ago or eight years ago, so naturally the anger is still fresh.

i think and hope that much of this will be attributed to QB's. the O had a great yr under JR's last yr and honestly it was a great year this year (#1 off in SEC) save for the last game and the 1st half of UGA.

its not only that we could not cross the fifty yard line. we did not use all our resources to see if we could cross the fifty yard line.

Let me break it down for you so you can understand: getting SHUTOUT and only crossing the 50-yard line ONE time the WHOLE GAME is a disgrace to the program and exposes the weakness of the COACHING.

i think you're right, and i hope he let's mett sling it around some next year, because that will take a lot of pressure of the ground game which is already potent even against a loaded box
