LSU is going to look terrible when this report drops

It would be really nice if people associated with LSU football could just keep it in their pants

So they reached a settlement due to "hitting on her"? It seems you would only reach a settlement for this sort of thing if someone was sexually harassing the other person.

I remember Matt Kennedy got suspended off the air for something he said about her.

Truth. I mean he was married to Kathy to be fair but that doesn't make it right

Or if you just want one party to go away. Reaching a settlement isn’t an admission of guilt.

He had a flop house apartment in BR where he would bang other women. His reputation as a family man and wholesome father figure was a carefully cultivated facade, apparently. The Miles apologists here used to devote months and endless pixels to lauding his impeccable morals. They used to say they preferred having a "good man" like Miles instead of a "tyrant" like Saban. Sigh.

Alton Sterling's family is getting $4.5 million. Just because someone got paid doesn't mean something wrong happened.

I couldn't care one way or the other if he got some strange. Multi-millionaire at an SEC school, I'd be more surprised if he didn't.

Update: LSU claims to have no knowledge of it prior to internal investigation and outside review

LINK

LSU vice president for strategic communications Jim Sabourin in response to The Advocate's Les Miles settlement report:

“As part of the Husch Blackwell review and our internal investigation, we have heard about a settlement, but LSU was not involved in it and has not seen it.”

Well he supposedly hooked up with Gary Moeller's wife while they were Michigan assistants.

Isn't hitting on just another term for flirting? When did that becomes illegal? If the hitting on wasn't tied to her job or a promotion? What's the big deal? That used to be how people coupled up.

The key will be do others come forward and if so, how many, and then the lawsuits will come. If it's confined to flirting is one thing, if more, than it gets serious.

Kansas ought to be thrilled, that gets them out of their contract with Miles.

As far as Saban, he was known to be fooling around as well, but at least not with students.

Got downvoted here for hinting that Les was anything but the quirky lovable coach that people thought he was. This was what I was referring to.

The advances he made were more than just flirting that required him to settle for a good chunk of change in a secret court case. Pretty scummy
