Football team.
Lsu has to get back to winning the line of scrimmage and being able to run the football.
It’s been awhile since we’ve seen that.
That does more to open your passing game than anything.

Yeah, it always opened up the passing game for Les’s offenses

Les Miles would have 15 tight ends on the roster with no intention of ever throwing them the football. We would have as many fullbacks as we would running backs. You would see AT LEAST 5 guys get carries EVERY game.

There was never any surprise. Defensive coordinators knew what our plan was: to run the ball on them to death. For most opponents, it actually worked.

I like having a more balanced offense. In today’s game you need a passer. We simply don’t have that

We’re not to the point of waxing nostalgic about Les freaking Miles for God’s sake.

I think you should have left Miles out of this post and stated that LSU teams are usually tough, hard nosed teams. That team Sunday night did not look like an LSU team.

Of all the coaches to be revising history about and wishing to have back, Les Miles may be one of the worst.

Since parting way with Miles, LSU has struggled to have an identity as a program. LSU is not as tough and physical as they were in those days.

Would it kill Denbrock to go under center hear and there?

Damn near the whole time Les was here everyone here bitched that we ran the ball too much and that we needed a passing qb.

Time has softened some of y’all’s memories when it comes to Les. Post 2012, Les’ teams were soft as baby shite in the trenches, and the play calling was maddening.

It shouldnt take another poor performance and softness from the Tigers to mention the accomplishments of Les Miles.

I believe in Kelly but dam bro, that was a sad performance and then say afterwards "We dont have the team we thought we did? Im tempted to say we dont have the coach, we thought we did.

bring back the I formation? It's easier to be physical when using TE's and fullbacks

Forget the spread offenses that we see now putting up over 300 yds passing a game let's go back to 2 TE and a fb

Yeah I don’t think a college football team aside from Navy will EVER replicate the personnel choices Miles made

Lesticles was awful. his roster was full of HB's and RB's and game plans were nothing but runs. We hardly ever passed the ball. Forget Les Miles. That's an era I don't want to be reminded of. Too much pain..
