Is this a realistic possibility one day or just a personal dream?

It's an idiotic thread that is recycled about once a month.

Let's make a guy with a track record of hiring his unqualified buddies and sticking with them for waaaaaayyyyyyy too long the AD. Brilliant!

You wanna frick him up the arse, don't you? Just admit it. He's your hero.

Les Miles has never been an Athletic Director. It is a business position. Former coaches no longer belong in positions like these.

This. I wouldn't want Miles running the LSU athletic department.

That’d be pretty ironic, JA replaced by the guy he fired

what responsibility of an AD correlates with Leslie's ability to eat grass?

Besides, Les has moved on to acting/commercials. Would you want your crazy uncle running your business?

Preferred resume for being an AD:

1) Previous experience running an Athletic Department
2) Previous experience running a large business
3) Intimate knowledge of the major sport that drives the Athletic Department
4) Working knowledge of all sports fielded by the Athletic Department
5) History with and/or love for the University

These are certainly not requirements, but if somebody could meet all of them it would be helpful. Les only meets 2 (and some people would say 1 1/2).

No. I love Les, but I would like someone more....I can't think of a way to say it without insulting Les so I'll just leave it at that.
