People like you are hopeless and defeated in the mind.

You know people like you making comments like that are truly unique.

Tom Herman is up an coming man give him a couple years. He destroyed Bama last year in the playoffs. Florida took a chance on Urban and it paid off. Herman could be similar scenario.
Dabo- Most of those losses were in his first couple years when he was rebuilding from Bowden. In recent bowl games he beat Miles, Urban, and nearly won the National title Monday against Saban. He has developed 2 elite college qbs in the past 3 years.
Jimbo has been a part of 2 National title teams 2003 OC and 2013. He can develop qbs which in this offensive age is a must, and he recruits well. That is why I said those guys are elite or in Herman's case have a chance to be elite.

Luckytiger57 if you're cool with us getting hammer by our biggest rival that's cool man. We need a new coach and unfortunately more losses 8-4 ,7-5 will put pressure on Alleva, boosters,or F.King to make changes. If someone puts me down for pointing out this fact then they are and idiot.

I do think Aranda will give us a top 10 defense next year, but I doubt our offensive scheme will help beat elite teams. We'll see what happens.

Our best hope for the future. LSU goes 8-4 fires Les ,and we get Dabo. Pay him a ton and keep Bama from getting him.
Go root for bama, last thing we need is another temporary coach who then ends up at bama.

we'll need to out bid Bama basically pay 7-8 million a year to get the next great coach in college. That's what it will take to get a coach who competes for National Championships.
We? WE? WE? How much are you throwing in? Everything in your tip jar?
Competes? COMPETES? COMPETES?
Get out of here with that mediocre attitude.

Basic sentence structure can be your friend.

think smart and muschamp are the only two to be head coaches. Les has pelini and jimbo.
Wasn't Peveto a head coach for a little while? Or maybe Mallory.
McElwein is another.

So by your reasoning, you would be upset if we went undefeated and won the championship next year.

If he was truly unique there would be no people like him. That's what "unique" means.

think money will do it huh? take a guess; how many coaches competeing for the NC this year made that much? how about last year?
throwing money around doesn't guarantee shite.

Larry Porter went from Assistant Head Coach under Miles to Head Coach of Memphis.
Chavis could have gotten a head coaching job but never wanted one.

for Houston, I default to the fact that you can't name him, which automatically removes him from the 'elite' list. Assume you are referring to Tom Herman
What an amazing argument!
Can I default to the fact that he's up for coach of the year, or that he just won a "BCS" bowl with Houston (something we haven't done since 2007) after winning a NC at OSU with a 3rd string QB
I think it's pretty damn obvious Dabo is an elite coach at this point.

so, we want dabo because he beat Saban?????? He had the better team that night, but was outcoached....

doesn't make him elite....there are plenty of coaches that actually won Coach of the Year that I would not consider elite LINK
Never said Dabo wasn't a top notch coach, but getting to a championship game doesn't equal elite at this point.
Perhaps, one needs to revisit the meaning of elite.

Dude Wilson took a head coaching job. Steele want to take advantage of his pension. Thank God he left or we would not have Aranda. Mark my words if Aranda is successful he will be our next head coach.
