I think the state bar association has a place to report these kinds of lawyers so they can have their licenses to practice revoked

It was reported by the Miami Herald that proceedings sped up when Fisher's attorney filed an intention to depose Tyler Jacobs (the former UF player) as a witness. Quickly after that, the divorce was finalized. I had read that rumor a few times a long time ago on a message board and thought it was BS. But it appears there was truth to it. The guy was her personal trainer.
I have no idea who was hammering who and where or when. That is a secondary issue. My concern is about all of these "inside sources" that pop up feeding the conspiracy addiction to LSU fans.

Everything you said... Spot on.
Except for that part about JF's wife. I don't know anything about that... Not my business.
But you're absolutely right.

Serious question, what exactly has Les done to have you doubt he doesn't?

Like I said, don't know how true, if true at all, but it was an interesting story that I haven't heard before.
As far as the corporate lawyer thing, he only helps us interpret OSHA/DOT/RCRA/EPA regulations. He isn't a trial or litigation lawyer, so he is pretty tame as far as that goes.

No he wasn't. Dal said it was a done deal. Done deal means there is no backing out.

My objective reaction in real time watching Alleva's press conference was that it was the biggest crock of shite I'd ever heard and an attempt to save face.
I like and support Les. I think it's pretty obvious though that Alleva tried to replace him with Fisher. It was obvious Alleva was pushing for a coup when he ran off Chavis (FTR, it all worked out and I'd rather have Aranda, but that point stands).

No it does not make since to fire some one, hire some one (two in this case) and then renege on the deal for the sum of money supposedly was the buy out for Les.

Is there a place in America(besides DC) with more corruption than Louisiana?

Mississippi. At least according to Fortune Magazine, for whatever that's worth. LINK

I think Jindal is the worst thing to ever happen to this state, BUT...
How could he plausibly threaten LSU's budget this year, when he would be out of office by early Jan 2016 and all this happened in late Nov. 2015?

Every state is as equally corrupt as any other. It's splitting hairs at this point. You should get out and experience more than just your own little bubble.

You don't get out much do you?
I'll just throw out a few names: Chicago, Newark, Detroit, Miami. I think you get the message. It's pretty crappy here but Louisiana isn't the only place.

Would that be Jendal or Edwards that is supposed to have said that? I am thinking it was supposed to be Edwards that said that. I am not sure a guy that wins an election a week before really would weigh in on a decision on the LSU football coach.I think Jumbo simply preferred to stay at FSU and we decided to keep Miles.

Wrong, who foresaw the Governor stepping in at the last minute?

It was reported at the time that both the current and previous governor expressed public support for Miles. What if anything they said private is anyone's guess.

Also of note was that Jimbo had accepted the job and just needed to sign the paperwork and that this was an ongoing thing.
The supposed Jimbo deal, if there ever really was one, had already fallen apart before the A&M game, that was basically common knowledge at that point. The King intervention had more to do with Alleva having no Plan B coupled with the negative press related to the big buyout with the budget being what it was. They were about fire a winning coach with a big payout then go on a coaching search with no one teed up. Like him, or not, King made the right move.
