IDGAF if he was the second coming of JC himself, don't stand for the anthem makes you a pile of dogshit by default

Well this was fun guys. Im gonna relax and watch some SNF.
frick all the racists in this thread. There are a lot of them. I hope your feelings dont get hurt too badly next weekend when a player decides to bend his legs during the anthem rather than keep them straight.

Then why the frick kneel at the ONLY part of their entire production that pays homage to the men and women serving and has died for this country?
What's hypocritical is the NFL trots out service members during this portion of most games then claims that the national anthem has nothing to do with our war vets or active military. Give me a fricking break.
There is a reason we stand.
Why not do it during the little game they get paid for? Take a knee on the first snap. Actually choose to make a fricking sacrifice for whatever the frick is you are supporting.

First off go screw yourself. If I had a child that said frick the national anthem I would punch them in the mouth. As far as Fournette and anyone else who disrespects the flag and anthem they are dead to me.

If he gave one when he was an actor then no.
After becoming a successful governor of California and President then yea that sorta changes that.

they died and served for all Americans to peacefully protest too.
the fact that you cant see this just proves youre picking and choosing what our soldiers fought for

its not hypocritical when you understand the national anthem and the flag symbolizes many things to many people. youre just making he flag amd anthem symbolize our past and present soldiers so you can be upset about players kneeling.

you dont stand at home do you? why do hate our judicial branch of the govt? domt you know he flag and anthem symbolize the judicial branch of our govt.?

they are making a sacrifice. do you not hear and see people like you shitting on them for taking stance? they are scarificing their standing in the eyes of people like you and possibly their ability to make money off on endorsements.
its amazing you dont have the same reaction to people wanting keep statues of generals and soldiers that ordered the death of american soldiers. they were fricking traitors to the flag youre so protective of right now

I'm an Vietnam era veteran. The athletes kneeling during the National Anthem isn't something I'd would do if I was in their shoes, but it's not something that offends me.
This is America, land of the free. And each and every one of them is free to make their own choice. Stand, sit, kneel, take your helmet off, leave your helmet on, whatever. That's their own choice.

Exactly.
Trump can disrespect McCain and POW's all campaign long, but now he's so patriotic? GTFOH
So many hateful comments in this one thread represents all the reason that these guys are "disrespecting the soldiers" or whatever you want to use to twist this into something it's not. One comment dogging a man that was killed by cops and these guys don't have anything to protest? And it's funny to hear so many say they "don't even know what they're protesting and then you proceed to answer your own question by naming the 2 main issues with cowardly cops that use the badge as an excuse to be tough.
And to the person that says he can't walk in the hood, there's a big difference between a low life in the "hood" vs a person who put on a uniform to serve. They are totally justified to be killers because there are killers in the hood. Makes sense.

i myself wouldnt kneel either because of my cousins that served but thats what the flag and anthem mean TO ME.
but im certainly not gonna say someone ia a shite human because they knelt during the anthem.
the flag and anthem mean different things to different people.
people like you gave blood sweat and tears so we couod live in a world where peaceful protest is a right, not a privilege.

Just don't celebrate too much if you score, wear the wrong athletic company's gear, wear a patch on your uni in memorial of a lost friend or family member, say something negative about the refs in a press conference, say something bad about Goodell . . .
