ranks 3rd all time in the NFL for LSU running backs.
Ranks 4th all time for LSU rushing yards history. The highest RB with only 3 years in college. The other top 3 had 4 years in college.
Ranks 1st in single season rushing yards for LSU history

Damn we have some idiots on this board

I have no clue why Tigerdroppings insists on shitting on LF7 like they do. He is, and should always be remembered as one of LSU’s all time great running backs

Social media has made everyone fricking stupid. It's made everyone forget anything that happened over a year ago.

He got his money and a ring, he did fine as a football player. Hopefully he secured his financial future and lives comfortably because the abuse he and his coaches inflicted to his body will come calling as he ages

Derrick Henry is a physical marvel even compared to a freak of nature like Leonard

As an LSU fan I love Fournette and I'm grateful he went to LSU. But Henry is a better back in every way and probably a HOFer. The year he had last year at 30 years old, for a RB is just mind boggling.

Guys like Henry & Barkley are a tad more biologically gifted, but not by much. The difference is they actually GAF and have invested in themselves from the jump.

Yep, I agree with all of that, Lester.

Don’t take things out of context.

He was indeed a bust at the NFL level based on where he was drafted.

He wasn't as shifty in the NFL. He gained too much weight.

LF never had a great initial burst. It always took him a few steps to get going. He did have great top end speed though.

That's because the caveman HC thought the toss dive against ole miss, AU, etc would work against bama.

True. Also true, Guice was the better rb. He was shifty and had burst.

Pretty good
One thing I did not realize is that Jefferson and Chase will both likely overtake Taylor's AP yards total in the next 2-3 years.

LF was a damn good receiver at St Aug, split him out so little bro could get some carries. But Les right.

LF has a Super Bowl ring, made 38 mil just in salary and probably half that in endorsements, vested in NFL retirement and healthcare systems etc etc.

A very successful 7th Ward Soldier.

They ran him into the ground in Jacksonville his first few years. They had a horrible offensive line. He was a stud in Brady’s offense in the playoffs. I think he was somewhat burnout by football towards the end. He had close to 8,700 all purpose yards from high school and college before he even took a snap in the nfl. Super Bowl champ, legend of the game

Two different styles, but LF’s pro career reminds me a lot of Reggie Bush. Very highly touted (#2 and #4 picks), had 2-3 excellent years and a number of solid seasons, and won a Super Bowl. Both college HOF but not close to Canton. Fair comparison?

Def.

When healthy and 230 like he was at LSU he was a beast.

He’s just not a workout warrior like D Henry.

If fournette goes to a team with a decent O line he is a household name. Jacksonville is where careers go to die.
