did he have a stroke recently or something? I've seen similar struggles to pronounce words in people i've known that had a stroke. hope he is ok?

edit:looks like a lot of people replying think i am making fun of Mr. Corso. Man, not at all. I was honestly just wondering - i was unaware he had a stroke a few years ago. that explains it.

Not recently that I know of, but he has talked like that since his stroke years ago.

Dude should have been retired 4 years ago. It’s hard to watch him struggle up there.

He’s just slipping a bit with age. Give him a break.
You will be there one day too.

Also, it's chilly. That doesn't help when you're struggling with the aftermath of a stroke

he had a stroke some years back. Cut him some slack. He's good for the game of college football.

Corso is the man, I'm ok with him doing this show as long as he wants. He is an institution, gameday will not be the same without him.

Leave Lee Corso alone. Work around him if you must, but he needs to be allowed to contribute as long as he feels he can. I want him to leave on his own terms.

To you folks out there who want him out I say.....your sorry arse will be old one day and you'll know what it's like when people want to throw you away.

Maybe, but it's one of the few things I respect ESPN for. He made College Gameday what it is and they have been loyal to him even though it's a struggle for him at times. ESPN has made numerous miserable decisions regarding firing people and keeping lesser on-air talent, but I respect them for this.

They do a good job of covering for him, especially Kirk. You can tell he really loves Lee.

Would like to have Berman and Fowler back on the respective shows they made, then maybe ESPN could earn back my respect.
