I saw nothing wrong in Kelly’s coaching or demeanor except for taking too long to go into LSU’s uptempo offense, but it was his first game with transfers, new QB, new Oline and new staff. Saban had major problems with special teams too at Alabama. Bet that Kelly gets his corrected much faster than Saban got his. Yes, I’m still all in with LSU’s head coach. You will see why soon enough snowflakes.

You saw nothing wrong with our execution in all 3 facets of the game last night?

Couldn’t fit it all in the heading. LSU fans will regret looking so foolish this soon. Way too early for that!

Nabors two muffed punts, and the kicker.

I need more emotion from Brian Kelly on the side line. I know the TV may be late to show his reaction but when the targeting play happened he should have met the player at the hashmarks chewing his arse out all the way to the bench. That's the kind of emotion we need. Rather than a "well damn, that wasn't a good play" expression. And have the asst coach talk with him. That wasn't a teaching moment. That was a WTF was that play moment and make the player wonder if he is even on the bus ride home.

Don't know if this is the right thread for that hot take but I will leave it right here.

Bruh... Cade York could've been the kicker last night and those kicks are still getting blocked.

If you think that’s why we lost the game because of those two things you are a bigger dipshit than I thought.

At ND, people almost exclusively called him Coach K. It’s already a thing

Well we're not ND, are we.

That'd be like calling Les, Coach M.

A HC needs to keep his composure when his team is struggling. That is what Kelly did. Nick Saban is the master of player psychology. Pay attention to him during Bama games. He's almost always calm and supportive on the rare occasions when Bama is struggling. He waits until they're up 50 and the game is out of hand before he starts chewing peoples' asses.

You forgot the blockers responsible for protecting the Kicker.
It was a team loss.

Saban has thrown that headset and ripped people during the game. Up or not. Ripped Kiffen. Ripped his own QB when he threw a dumb pick. I'm not saying he needs to blow up every bad play but that one at that point would have been the time. The blocked kick at the end is a coaching deal on Tuesday.

As bad as Nabors' muffs were, amazingly neither turned into FSU points.

I'd blame the O line, Boutte, and the kick blocking team. It's not really the kicker's fault - it seems he kicks a high ball, but even that is impossible if defenders are in his face.

Kelly gets no judgement from me until 2023 or maybe even 2024.
Last night was a failure of individual players not doing their jobs. I was impressed with the way that they didn’t give up and went down fighting. 2022 will have many L’s but it’s building experience for future years as we have more talent coming onboard.
